So, if you look at the last tournament, you could argue that maaaybe the AAC should have 2 teams in, since we went from 3 down to 1 when the field went from 64 to 16. 25 is closer to 16 than 64, so rounding isn't really on our side.
If anything, the Big 10 should probably have a team on this list.
As little research as they do, it's probably best that they go back two years ago to make their rankings.

This may be the deepest pitching staff we’ve had. If Gavin Williams can stay healthy with his arm, watch out. And if COVID doesn’t rain on our parade, we could be in for a really special season.

Don't hate. UH is probably the fanbase that cares the most about baseball in this conference along with ECU & maybe Tulane as well. ECU will be back this year in football.

Absolutely no hate bud! My point was that ECU fans can come on and be proud to lead this conference in one of the 3 "big" sports. Believe me, as a Coog fan, I know what it's like to drip losses in the other two sports for long periods of time.

Very exciting to see Olthoff for Tulane pitch, he was probably the most dominating pitcher in ALL of college baseball last year but didn’t get the national hype because we aren’t in the SEC. his numbers were bonkers and he’s back again. Voted a pre season all American:
“The California native posted perhaps the best start to a career by a pitcher in program history with a 4-0 record in four starts while posting a microscopic 0.32 ERA with 47 strikeouts across 28 innings of work. He also walked just three batters and held opposing hitters to just 12 hits and a .128 batting average. “

Wichita Shocker weekend series with Northern Colorado cancelled for this coming weekend. The single digit weather and snow is a problem.
However, the good news is that it has been replaced by a Saturday (doubleheader/3 game total), Sunday series scheduled with Oklahoma at Roundrock Texas.
A neutral setting should make for a good series for rankings, and metrics down the road, and a good opportunity to see where we are right off the bat (so to speak).

I am pumped for this. Go Pirates!!!
Is our 4pm still on if it ever stops raining?
Nothing on Twitter as of yet. Rain is supposed to stop early in the afternoon. If they do shut it down today, it’s supposed to be nice over the weekend. So could do two tomorrow if needed. I guess we’ll see.

Michigan got hot at the right time. The Big 10 is not a good baseball conference. Their champion in any given year is usually hanging around the bottom of the top 25.
