This would kill any offensive spacing. Reece also should not be guarding peremiter players. You cant have Ezikpe and Trice both taking up space inthe paint.

Big players play 20-25 minutes so both Kalu and Trice can get enough minutes.

We have no offense! Let alone spacing. JJ tries to run a half court set with no dominant post presence. When that doesn't work (which is most of the time), we pass the ball around the perimeter and settle for 3 pt shots with players that can't shoot. This is a prime example of JJ lack of recruiting for the style of play he advocates. Our only offensive success is when Curry drives the lane for a contested lay-up. But most opponents are catching on to this and shutting that down. So stop trying to act like you know how to coach and put your best players on the damn court and let them play!

I wouldn't say that. Ezipke and Trice have been pretty dominant. But nearly all our scoring does come from getting to the basket. Without perimeter threats they just have to defend the paint.

Our offense is actually better than its been for the majority of the last 20 years even with our inability to shoot. Its really been our defense that has let us down this year.

If you think our offense is bad now, put Trice and Ezikpe downlow so the defense can easily defend those 2 and Curry driving without any room for our offense to move.

I agree with this...it's been ODU defense that has definitely been sub-par than usual.

We keep talking about bad offense, and I know we have laid a few eggs, but aren't we scoring more than we have in years?

Take out Xavier Green and it would be measurably better I think.

I would like to see more of Long for sure. But taking Green out would make a mediocre defense even worse. And Im not sure how much better Long is on offense at this point...but want to see what he can do.

I feel for Green, as a starter going for 2 and 3 points in his last two games. Leading all players in minutes played, he's in a big slump and we need him to get out

Hes been in a big slump for two seasons or at least 1 1//2. Time to bench his butt. Maybe coming off the bench will help him. Maybe???

Green has taken on the defense first role that Denzel Taylor and Aaron Carver played in recent years. Only big difference is that those guys rebounded much better. It is shocking how poorly he shoots. I've wondered if he maybe needed to get an eye exam.

Even with degraded vision he still should be able to hit the rim. The number of airballs is what is shocking. It has to be confidence. He takes way too long to set up his shot. He has missed out on some wide open 3s because of how long he thinks about it. He seems to do better with a few dribbles and going straight up near the high post.

Maybe X needs some glasses? Worked wonders for "Wildthing" Vaughn in CLE.

That is truly a strange comment to make after a game where we hit 61.7% of our field goals for 78 points (8 in OT). Every player who played except Hunter and Green hit 50% or better. And you say we have no offense. smh

I agree. Outside a couple of handful of games the Off has been flowing much better.

I know it’s not the same, but ESPN+ is the next best thing to being there. Somebody get this man a subscription. Radio is hard for me, Ted doesn’t really paint a picture that I can see while listening. It’s possible that I am partly distracted since I only listen to radio when I can’t sit down for a broadcast, like while driving. But it’s also possible he knows his broadcast is on TV also and gears it towards that medium.
