Matt Drudge has been a very private man — borderline reclusive — for over 20 years. It’s hard to say exactly what he wants or what he’s doing. People who have studied the DrudgeReport for “clues” say it’s not even clear if Matt Drudge, personally, is editing it any more, or not.

I have nothing against the guy, and if he has simply had a change of heart about his political worldview — mind you, I don’t think that’s true in his case. Just acknowledging that it’s possible — well, he’s entitled to that, too. But whatever the reason, DrudgeReport’s traffic has imploded over the last couple of years and I doubt it will ever return to its salad days.

Who Bought Off Drudge
I think it went down something like this:

His Dad had another site, no idea what, where, or who, but someone with DEEEEP pockets bought out Pops for serial money. Drudge threw in to get the deal done. May have been Bezos.

Dad and son sailed off into the sunset, totally set for generations.

Least, that’s how I heard it.

Soros has his billionaires club to push his OWG plan of fascism. There are over seventy members with a reported $25,000,000/yr dues. That’s a lot of destruction of freedom going on there. Oh yeah, Suckerberg and filthy Jack are said to be members in good standing.

actually, drudge ditched longtime advertiser for one affiliated with google cloud in spring of 2019 ...
just as the presidential campaign was heating up ...
doesn’t explain his radical departure ...
or does it ...
