Quote:Democrats really seem to be losing their minds.
Not only are they trying to impeach President Donald Trump without constitutional basis, likely with the aim of trying to block him from ever getting back into office and/or smearing the GOP, but they’re going off into crazy hyperbole land in the process.
Indeed one who is going over the edge is probably the last person who should be commenting, to begin with — Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA).
Swalwell unbelievably tried to compare the president to Osama Bin Laden and the 9/11 attack.
Comparing the president of the United States to Osama bin Laden is ludicrous and an insult to him and to those who died on 9/11.
Trump also said, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to PEACEFULLY and patriotically make your voices heard.”
Swalwell is most known for farting live on television and having a relationship with a Chinese spy. But despite all that he still has a seat on one of the most sensitive Committees in the House, the Intelligence Committee. Why is he still there when he’s potentially compromised? How does he think he has any standing to comment on anyone else?
House Republicans protested to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca) in a formal letter in December about Swalwell still being on the Committee after all the gory details about the alleged spy came out.
Not only hasn’t Pelosi removed him, but she’s even named him to be one of the impeachment managers in their effort to take out Trump, as we reported earlier, along with several other impeachment managers including Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), a former constitutional law professor, to lead the effort and Reps. Diana DeGette (D-CO), David Cicilline (D-RI), Joaquin Castro (D-TX), Ted Lieu (D-CA), Joe Neguse (D-CO), Madeleine Dean (D-PA), and Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI).
So, not only is Pelosi ignoring the concerns about Swalwell, but it appears she’s even trying to rehabilitate him with this move and give him more responsibility rather than remove him. She’s certainly ignoring the Republican concerns with this move.
Meanwhile, this character comes up with ridiculous things like this, showing that he’s just not a very serious or intelligent person, despite being on the Intelligence Committee.
Here’s Mark Steyn skewering Swalwell, as my colleague Sister Toldjah wrote about previously.
It won't end until people go their streets and houses and protest. When people go to his house in the middle of the night and protest that is where we have the conversation.
It's not that they think he's truly comparable to OBL.
It's a distinct attempt to put a narrative into big tech and the media. The narrative is that Trump is so dangerous, his actions are equal to that of terrorists. That way they liken any supporters to the same. It's telling. If they can say it enough, get it to stick, they'll start using anti-terrorism legislation on a demographic they despise.

Nope, and they are too obtuse to realize that the names and vitriol are exactly what is causing the divide in this country. Likewise, notice how none of the spineless RINOs are calling them out. You can't heal a divide with people who perpetually call you a white supremacist, Nazi, etc.
