Great opportunity tonight for Moreland to get another with Philadelphia’s patchwork line . Jalen will probably make a few bad decisions under pressure .

Saw in the Washington Post the other day that Rashard Davis was waived by the Titans. Hope he catches on somewhere else.

I’m not sure it’s a fair comparison. Taylor didn’t start his first year as a pro. Heinicke is a veteran pro Qb at this point. I bet if Vad Lee was given a chance in FBs pros he’d show better than DiNucci did because when you are more mature and experienced as a pro things slow down for you.

Interesting as the guy they put in for the injured guard was guy they has just brought off practice squad and not Stinnie. My guess is that Stinnie had mostly practiced on the other side and he will move in practice this week and with that is better option.

Simply from processing/read stand point I agree. Taylor was very quick in his reads and going from 1 to 2 to 3 and then to 4. I think Ben is athletic as Taylor but is slower thinking or at least thinks too much.

But Taylor had been around some preseason camps, played some mop up games and started a game prior to Saturday. Taylor was around several QBs and learned a lot more than from Dak and Dalton in six games.

If you're comparing Ben's one start to Taylor's start Saturday, not apples to apples. Philly line was one of the best in the league this year. Taylor's was a playoff start.

Hopefully Ben gets a preseason before he's written off for good.

Taylor has been out of football for 1.5 years.

For whatever reason - I'm going to guess Taylor has a much better shot next year than Ben.

I don't disagree there. He showed 10 times better in the game Saturday than Ben did in his first start.

I think Ben looks better for or at least has a shot to be a back up if he gets a better, normal chance at a preseason.

He's been out of the NFL that long, but not out of football. He was the backup QB for one of the XFL teams in February and March before COVID shut their season down.

I agree Heinicke looked reasonable and Ben looked bad, but one was a rookie making his first career start during a year without even the benefit of preaseason games, and one has about five years of nfl experience (admittedly mostly practice squad, but still lots of experience).

If Ben ever gets locked out of his apartment I like his chances for getting back inside without incident over Heinickes

It certainly looked like Jimmy joined the "Tom Brady beat me club" a couple times Saturday night.

I'm not sure how to evaluate Jimmy's season with the Redskins. I recall a couple of holding penalties on punt returns. He made some real nice plays on bubble screens. Also a lot of good tackles. He was beaten a few times for TD's in my opinion, but defenders get beaten every game for TDs.

I think he's played overall average as the nickel back, but it's sometimes hard to tell on TV.

I am so pleased to see Aaron's career blossom. Not bad for a guy who went undrafted. Of course, the NFL is loaded with guys like this. He comes from a great family and a Dad who played in the NBA, so they are no strangers to professional sports at the highest levels. A super representative of JMU. I'll be watching and rooting for him this upcoming weekend against the Saints.

And just like that a couple days after Rashard Davis was waived by the Titans he has signed a reserve/futures contract with the Titans for 2021. Just gotta loave all the contract machinations that go on this time of year.
