Companies are private businesses (not government entities) and should be able to set their terms of service including to whom they provide a good or service.

Theoretically I fully agree, but we are in a unique situation where a small group of social media companies have a monopoly and the left and the government is using them as a proxy to silence decent and free speech. Not to mention the fact that those same monopolies have huge fat government contracts.

So we are going to have to change those rules or break up those monopolies. The status quote cannot continue because its being purposely used to institute fascism and suppression of free speech.

Plenty of conservative AG's in red states. My belief is the right needs to form a coalition of red state AG's to utilize the courts as a brake on the potential of the Biden administration, now in possession of majorities in both houses of Congress, to careen wildly down the leftist train tracks laid down by AOC and others. California, New York, and Hawaii were especially aggressive in using the courts to slow and impeded Trumps agenda. I hope to see Texas lead the way in a similar effort.

On this we agree, but at the same time they should not be afforded federal protections from libel if they are choosing content.

As soon as they decide to be an arbiter of content, they are responsible for EVERYTHIGN that is untrue not just what they feel like it untrue. They will be bankrupt in 24 months after they lose that protection. All it will take is one false accusation of Rape to be allowed and the falsely accused will be rich - if there is anything left to take that is.

I just checked it out for the 1st time. I'll sign up later today. My Facebook feed isn't bad, because out of 400 or so friends on there, only 4-5 would post liberal leaning things, and I simply hid those folks. Everyone else in my friends list and all family are conservatives. Still gonna hit Gab up though.
