While I agree, upper body strength doesn't affect his inability to get in front of even a single instance of dribble penetration or help off the ball.

Could it also be the gimp shoulder which affected him at the end of last year causing him not to hit the weights as hard this summer?

Dude did some work for us last year but just isn’t getting it done. He got in at the end of the game last night to set a pick and throw a pass and he turned it over. He went back to the bench and we won. Go figure.

I hear ya. The guy we hired to replace him seems to have more experience working with women’s basketball programs.

Its my understanding that these guys did not get a lot of gym time due to the way the preseason happened. Its one of the reason our freshman seem so small as well. They did not get a full offseason of S&C.
