Exclamation Conference Comparison of Award Winners for 2020
Here is the latest regarding college football award winners for the year 2020. Of the 22 awards so far, three were awarded to AAC student athletes:

Chuck Bednarik Award – Zaven Collins (Tulsa)
Bronko Nagurski Award – Zaven Collins (Tulsa)
Campbell Trophy – Brady White (Memphis)

Conference breakdowns for the other awards:

SEC – 12 Awards (7 of these awards went to Alabama players DeVonta Smith and Mac Jones)
ACC – 4 Awards
Big 12 – 1 Award
Sun Belt – 1 Award (Coach of the Year)
Mountain West – 1 Award
B1G – 0 Awards
PAC 12 – 0 Awards

Yet to be announced are the winners of the Lombardi Award, the Ted Hendricks Award (Tulane’s Patrick Johnson and Cincinnati’s Myjai Sanders are on the watch list), the Lott IMPACT Trophy, and the Eddie Robinson Award (Cincinnati’s Luke Fickell is one of the finalists).

Covid year really helped our national viewership and perception.

When the Pac12 and Big10 have a full schedule and take all the time slots... it’s back to normal... being overlooked

Despite all the craziness, this was a special year for AAC
