1: Their ambitions to be THE superpower in the world.
2. Their taking over international waters in the South China Seas and building islands in them (it doesn't belong to them)
3. They hate our interference by defending Taiwan.
4. They hated our placing tariffs on their products as retribution for stealing our intellectual property for many years. Should have been done many presidents ago.
5. They jailed or killed some of their own people for spreading the news that it started in China.
6. Several Chinese have defected and told us they know for sure it started there at the risk of losing their own lives. Only thing in doubt in my mind is what we can do about it. There will be investigations.
There will probably be more biological warfare from the Chinese. This was more than likely not accidental. If so the Chinese would not have hidden the disease for 30+ days. They would have cancelled flights on their own instead of us having to do it.

Dudes in hazmat suits throw you into a van and speed you off to prison for leaving your home, but you can fly out of Wuhan anywhere in the world outside of the country. Makes total sense. The fact that the virus kills off old people with an average of 2.4 comorbidities at a rate of over 90% is also a very China thing to do.

It's too early to tell, but the end result will probably be something close to the elimination of the middle class. If you are rich you will get richer. If you are poor, you won't be much worse off.

If you were doing ok, but don't own a lot of assets, there is a good chance you will be much less well off than you were beforehand.

People aren't taking vacations, going to restaurants spending money on cars or clothes just for the fun of it; not because of covid. The problem is there are a LOT of people in our government who are also more than happy to use the pandemic (and the coming future pandemics, lets not deceive ourselves this is just pandemic #1) to gain more power and control. And there are many people in power around the globe who are as well.

If you have been paying attention recently, a lot of them also have direct ties to China, and are filling their pockets with Chinese money. People at the highest level of our government. Even POTUS elect Joe Biden and Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell.

None of these things are a conspiracy theory, they are established reality.

Those in denial are going to stay in denial, and there is really no reaching them and opening their eyes right now. So there is not much point in arguing with them, its best just to point out the truth. Those who are open to it will receive it and consider it. Those who aren't won't. They will just respond with snark.

I'm first on the list. ICU nurse manager here. Part of my unit is a covid ICU.I just received my first vaccine. I balked for a couple of weeks because I react to new things the older I get. I was super dizzy that night, bottom lip was tingling, and I had a metallic taste in my mouth for two days. I can guarantee the physicians I work with aren't getting richer because of covid. We are exhausted mentally and physically. I'm in central Iowa and our numbers the last two months were the highest of the entire country. We are finally starting to come down in numbers but Im afraid of what will happen soon as I heard of so many people getting together for the holidays. I've been a nurse almost 25 years and been in ICU for almost 24. i have never seen anything like this.

There will probably be more biological warfare from the Chinese. This was more than likely not accidental. If so the Chinese would not have hidden the disease for 30+ days. They would have cancelled flights on their own instead of us having to do it.

The problem is there are a LOT of people in our government who are also more than happy to use the pandemic (and the coming future pandemics, lets not deceive ourselves this is just pandemic #1) to gain more power and control. And there are many people in power around the globe who are as well.

If you have been paying attention recently, a lot of them also have direct ties to China, and are filling their pockets with Chinese money. People at the highest level of our government. Even POTUS elect Joe Biden and Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell.

None of these things are a conspiracy theory, they are established reality.

Those in denial are going to stay in denial, and there is really no reaching them and opening their eyes right now. So there is not much point in arguing with them, its best just to point out the truth. Those who are open to it will receive it and consider it. Those who aren't won't. They will just respond with snark.

The 'facts' for a flat earth have the same backing as the ones being presented here.

The arguments are on equal footing based on the 'facts'

Try to refute the flat earth theory...And you will get similar arguments to the ones presented above. Both refuting accepted facts by parroting conspiracy theories.

There are people out there (particularly, "scientists") who believe the Earth needs to be protected from overpopulation. Politicians want control. They crave it. Cross those two streams, and you have a recipe for what we have now. How do you control the population? Fear. Fear of either the politician (Totalitarianism), or fear of some "thing" or "force" from which the politician pledges to protect you. You can believe SARS-CoV-2 was or was not produced in a Wuhan lab, but regardless, it became a convenient tool to use by those that crave power.

I trust Dr. Salk, because it was 1953. 2020 is a totally different world politically.

I don't believe there's any doubt where this virus originated. I DO BELIEVE it was loosed on the world intentionally.

China had many reasons for setting off this pandemic.

1: Their ambitions to be THE superpower in the world.
2. Their taking over international waters in the South China Seas and building islands in them (it doesn't belong to them)
3. They hate our interference by defending Taiwan.
4. They hated our placing tariffs on their products as retribution for stealing our intellectual property for many years. Should have been done many presidents ago.
5. They jailed or killed some of their own people for spreading the news that it started in China.
