They'll be happy if they can just win the weakest division of the MW every year. Right now they can't even make the championship game some years.

False

Comment: Since the Mountain West split into two divisions in 2013, the Mountain has dominated the West in head-to-head matchups (the West does have a 4-3 edge in MW titles). But that’s not the case this season. After the Mountain went 13-5 against the West in 2019, the West has turned the tables on the Mountain. The West is 9-1 against the Mountain with the lone loss being Wyoming’s win over Hawaii.

FALSE

Comment: The MW did not have divisions this year

As to my assertion, the more battle tested division champ wins, two of those loses in the championship are also Boise, winning in the Mountains weaker years.

Didn't two of the Mountain West teams kick the **** out of two of our teams this bowl season? They were both behind Boise. Boise to the AAC........sign me up.

Is Moore to Boise a done deal? The last I saw Andy Avalos was also a good candidate.

For me it would be the first person that I personally saw play to become a college head coach.

Except he's not taking the job.

Some online chatter that suddenly-available Tom Herman might be a candidate

It's more likely that Avalos gets the job.

"I am very excited to remain with the Dallas Cowboys as the offensive coordinator," Moore said in a statement Saturday night. "I will no longer be pursuing the head coaching job at Boise State. I love Boise State. I will always root for them, and I hope one day to be a part of the program again."
