RE: Conference Bowl Standings
B12 is the real threat to pass the SBC, as they are favored to go 5-0.

Root for Army to beat WV today and Oregon to win against Iowa State.

Independents would be 3-0, but as a rule not a conference and not in contention.

Since Tulsa and San Jose will drop out of the top 25, that should leave only SBC and AAC with G5 ranked teams.

If Coastal and ULL remain ranked, as they should, SBC will have more ranked teams than AAC, can't wait to see that meltdown.

BYU will most likely be the highest ranked non P5, if UC loses to Georgia.

Is there a 5th? I only see 4.

OU, OSU, and Texas have already won.

RE: Conference Bowl Standings
So I guess all of the Coastal Fans who were bragging about how their great season brought so much exposure to SunBelt should now be thanking their conference mates for winning their own bowl games and pulling CC through this Bowl Challenge?

Odds of that happening....less than the odds that a CC coach testing positive was the real reason there was no SBC CCG.

Hell, CC backed out due to a linebacker coach testing positive. Clemson is about to play in CFP with OC out due to Covid. What a ****** way to end a special season for the Sunbelt a conference and all due to a bunch of chickens and the bonus they paid their whiney HC.

Nah we are past that. Majority of the SBC knows they ducked the Cajuns. Plus they choked away their bowl game.

Coastal is singlehandedly responsible for the two most unfortunate happening within the SBC this year.

Most definitely. Prime time to bring Sunbelt to the spotlight and the Chickens ruined it in multiple ways.

The way the CC fan base was thumping their chests about carrying the conference before they took their beat down from Liberty makes the whole situation even worse. Embarrassing.

Ball St now has something Coastal does not. Ball St won and has their programs first bowl win. Congrats to them and thank you for clearing a path for the SBC to bring home a trophy.

What an ass beating they gave the MWC champs. Their coach worked his way up from Arena leagues. Impressive.

RE: Conference Bowl Standings
Updated through games of 1/1/21:

Both B12 and B10 could both end up at 5-0.

Could also be a 3 way tie B12, B10, and SBC all at 4-1.

There is a possibility that a MAC team could jump into the top 25, but doubtful, so the odds are that only the AAC and SBC will have ranked teams from the G5.

B12 4 0
B10 3 0
MAC 2 0
SBC 4 1
IND 2 1
MWC 2 1
PAC 0 1
SEC 3 2
ACC 0 4
AME 1 5
USA 0 6

I thought I remembered that it didn’t count, only the semis counted, but I’m not sure

Every site I have seen over the years has included the "championship game".

We are getting zero help from Oregon, they keep turning the ball over on special teams. Currently 28-17 Iowa St, with 8:03 to go in the 3rd.
