Swayze is finally becoming the player we were all expecting her to be-- filling the outside shooting role that Nicole had served so well. Also good to see Wiggins bounce back with a much more aggressive offensive showing.
On the down side, what's up with Schwartz? Second game in a row she was nearly invisible on score sheet.

Good to get a road W, but we'll need to be sharper against better teams. Schwartz with a mega struggle. 2 pts, 5 rebs, 3 ast, 4 TOs, and a -17 +/-. Wiggins and Smith had good all-around games, but had way too many TOs.
The OReb’s for LR reminded me of that horrific game against SMU last year.

...and against A&M and Oklahoma. We were giving up 20+ offensive rebounds a game early last season, and it was an issue all year, even with Erica. As tall and good as Nancy is, she simply has not bulked up enough (or at all) to compete for inside rebounds against strong, aggressive opponents.

The Little Rock win is looking better and better. Since then, LR has beaten Memphis on the road and Vanderbilt at home.

Surprisingly at Little Rock.
They have a solid non-conference home schedule: Rice, A&M, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, and WKU.

Surprisingly at Little Rock.
I thought the same thing and actually went back to double check where that game had been played. I didn’t know A&M played non-conference road games.
