I think it’s hard to project just now. Normally OL prospects have multiple years of tape available and Hudson will only have about 12 games of tape. Honestly, I think he would be better served to return as I think he could significantly improve his stock with another year. That said, it’s easy for me to say that since I’m not actually turning down millions.

Agree on all points. I think he has all the raw, athletic ability, but could use another year to polish his technique a bit. But you're right - the money can be tempting.

gobearcats lists Hudson at 6'5" and 310 lbs. i need to get my eyes checked because i would have never guessed 300+, especially given the way he moves. With all respect to Coach Crook and the rest of the staff, i don't know if he'll learn more here then if he went pro. On top of that, he is playing really well. Save for the rare presnap penalty, he rarely racks up penalties (honestly, i'm surprised he hasn't gotten more unsportsmanlike penalties with all the shite taliking he does, which i fully endorse btw). And in those cases where he does get noticed they are highlights. The offense is rolling and he's a big part of that. He's virtually guaranteed an All Conference slot. i just see more downside in him coming back. Just ask Shaun Wade.

i imagine he'll test the waters to see what feedback he gets. My guess is that he'll really like what he hears.

I genuinely believe there are 3 future NFL rotation guys on our OL at the moment.

It’s hard to project, but we definitely have several underclassmen that will get a shot at the NFL. Some will be drafted including a few that should be drafted in the early/mid rounds. Some of those will definitely be on the OLine,

Will be interesting to see how guys progress and where they are eventually drafted and how many players that are currently on the roster end up with a shot snd/or drafted.

There hasn't been an interior lineman as polished as Renfro is that I can recall in quite some time nationally. Normally you'll have some goof true freshmen OTs who can leverage their athleticism, but with the head/technique necessary on the inside, it doesn't happen this quick.

Agree, Renfro is looking like a stud as a True Freshman and has a bright future. Imagine him with more experience and multiple years in a major college football weight room.

The thing is, I think there is several others that may be really good once they get their shot. In 3 years or so we should come back and revisit this thread and see how many players weren’t mentioned that have a legit shot at being drafted or getting an UDFA deal.
