I saw in the vp, where Norfolk State was streaming their basketball games for 50.00 per season. I wonder what ODU is going to do. I hate CUSA TV but don't mind ESPN plus. What ever happens, I will subscribe.

I'll subscribe too, but man, I hate CUSA tv and hope like crazy that is not it. ESPN+ is way, way, way better. Better yet, get us some games on real tv.

I also hate CUSA TV and its $10/month plan. I'm used to ESPN+ now. And I get it free with my Verizon plan.

Please tell me ODU is not about to destroy this process and make it impossible to enjoy watching games when we can't go to them.

The women's away game against George Washington on November 28 at 2pm(?) seems to be slated for ESPN+ viewing. I would love to attend in person but struggling with this recent uptick in COVID cases.

Flo has a deal with all CAA schools. We should not see any home games on there.

But seriously, does anybody know why we are looking at this ridiculous hodgepodge of viewing options?

I feel sorry for the CAA. I think it was last year we had a couple of games on Flohoops so I purchased a subscription. Not a good experience. I cancelled but I still get frequent emails from them.

Is the MD game a play for pay or H/H

I’ve been holding onto my espn+ subscription waiting for basketball. If we aren’t on it, I’ll probably drop it. But I’m not going to subscribe to 5 different things and pay for each one. ODU needs to get this right with more games on TV and all that aren’t need to be on one high quality streaming outlet. From past experiences, that leaves one option. Espn+

I watched the VT win replay live on there and AirPlayed it to my TV. It was easier than most of the options we have dealt with recently (Stadium, Facebook, Flo).

Small Time thinking...ODU needs their own crew to film and broadcast / stream these games in the era of COVID. They could sell memberships at $50/year including Baseball / Volleyball and sell advertising as well. Time to control our own destiny and generate revenue. Then they could add Football and charge the same thing. If Liberty can do it...so can ODU.
