Tulsa is very good. Not sure "Top 25-ish good." BUT, that team knows how to win. And that's worth a lot.

What impresses me about Tulane is the upgrade in athletes. When I attended the USF @ Tulane game in 2017, I had a sideline seat and was able to see the players up close. We had noticeably larger linemen, taller receivers, etc. We were just a level above in terms of physical specimens.

But when I see Tulane on TV now, they are beefed up. The lineman are larger, and in a quality sense, bigger frames, not fatter, the skills guys seem faster, etc. They don't seem to be at a physicality disadvantage like they were just a couple years ago.

An interesting observation. I was fairly impressed watching Tulane last night. They could hang with most teams in the nation (as could Tulsa).

I have nothing against Tulsa per se, rooted for them against Oklahoma State. But I felt that ECU got robbed agains them, so I've been hoping they'd get a comeuppance since.

Not last night, LOL.

Wow. Ref literally just stole game from Purdue for Minnesota. Purdue TD to go ahead 38-34 called back for OPI. Replay shows Receiver a step ahead of DB with zero contact.

Losing a game on this is absolutely ******* ridiculous. Even Gopher Glen Mason is speechless.

Purdue absolutely got jobbed on that call and likely on the quirky reception ruled incomplete. The official making that call had to be looking prior to the play for the slightest provocation to flag because it was as clean of a football play as you'll see anywhere on a coverage. IMO the official was looking for a reason to change the outcome. That's how bad a call it was. Also the post game explanation that he pushed off around the 7 yard line is wholly bogus because the flag didn't come out until the catch was made in the back of the end zone.

It's nights like this when I wish I got the BTN. Not that I would actually pay to subscribe, just that well I wish was magically among the channels I already get, LOL.

I agree, from that replay there was absolutely zero PI by other player, totally clean play. The ref who called it is ridiculous.

Not only that, but the replay shows the ball wasn't even in the air when the receiver was around the 7 yard line. Totally absurd.

I now realize how much I miss Gus Johnson calling NCAA Tournament games. Hopefully FOX can pick up the College Football Playoff when ESPN's contract expires.

Anyone else hate watching games played at Coastal Carolina? Their weird green field casts an awful glare

FOX's tenure with the BCS gave us atrociously produced games. Instead of replays, we were given continuous shots of the band or a particular cheerleader the producer was keen on. Hard pass.

#3 Ohio St beating up on #10 Indiana. Buckeyes just too fast

Also I was watching that Minnesota game. Apparently it was makeup call for an interception a few plays before. Still a horrible call

Lets face it - Indiana has been beating teams like Michigan and Penn State because those teams are far worse then usual, not because Indiana is so much better than usual.

Ohio State is not far worse than usual, lol. 35-7

Indiana has dropped a wide open 4th&short in FG range, fumbled on the 2, & just fumbled on the 15 on a potential Pick Six. This could very easily be a 35-31 game if IU didn’t keep making unforced errors.
