The issue with the football team began last Monday - everyone tested negative Friday before traveling to SMU then had some positives Monday. The Capital said "minimal positive COVID tests" but contact tracing caused a larger number to isolate.

Best case is continued negatives, but I do not know the detailed return to participation criteria.

Memphis paper reports Navy tested yesterday (Monday). I imagine we'll know sometime today if they can play or not. the only rescheduling I can imagine would be slide Houston at Memphis to 12/12 and play Memphis at Navy of 12/5. I know Navy wants the open week before Army but that would mess up any make up of Tulsa and Navy.

I could care less what Navy wants. They are partly responsible for screwing our season to high heaven. They have a week open, they need to make up the game.

If you "could care less" than it means you care some non-zero amount. I suspect you care a lot.

Navy isn't going to resist rescheduling to keep 5 December open:
“That open weekend prior to Army is critically important,” Gladchuk said. “That said, we belong to a conference and whatever decisions are made by the leadership will dictate what Navy football must do. We have an obligation to the American Athletic Conference."
