Good idea. I think you have 5-6 venues that can hold the games with the appopriate hookups and lighting for TV.

Because we will be on probation?

That, or we finish a little over .500 and 5th place in the conference.

Maybe we can get a CBI home game?

why so pessimistic? We are pre-season #27. we have a couple of nice Senior transfers to add to the mix.

It is more important and enjoyable for him to be right, than it is for us to have a great basketball team. Such is life in Smallville.

We all know you want Penny to fail so you can be right. Everyone free of bias projects us to be in the tournament, with many not basing it on Williams being on the roster. Normal fans hope we can be even better. The poster was merely correctly calling you out on your glass and brain both being half full.

You don't get why we responded to you like that, which surprises nobody.

Over the past 8-10 years, we normally enjoy good rankings in the pre-season, only to underachieve. Seems to be a pattern.

No. I don't want Penny to fail. I want him to win 10 straight national titles for Memphis. But yeah, I don't believe he's got what it takes to be a successful head coach in college. That is my OPINION.

This is what you said about Tubby when he was hired...
Quote:Tubby is a going to do a great job in Memphis. Period.

Got to interact with him on numerous occasions when he was at Tulsa. And, my father was pretty good friends with him and his wife. Quality guy. And, a very good coach and motivator.

I know I'm in the minority, but I think this is pretty close to a "home run hire". Tubby's teams will play smart, tough, and be well prepared.

This is what you said AFTER losing by 41 to SMU, 30 to UCF, having no postseason, and AFTER starting the next season 12-6, which included a 34 point loss to Cincinnati, and a 15 point loss to UAB..
Quote:If Harris or any recruits can't see that Tubby is a great coach and developer of talent, then let them go elsewhere.

This is also Tubby's view. He isn't going to kiss anyone's rear. Not an AAU "coach" or some snot-nosed 18 year old, that doesn't know up from down.

This is what you are saying when EVERYONE has us making the tournament, and most have us ranked in the top 25...
Quote:That, or we finish a little over .500 and 5th place in the conference.

Maybe we can get a CBI home game?

So both posters were correct in pointing out how dumb your post was. The good news is that you have control over how much humiliation you want. Keep it up; I have worse stuff ready to copy and paste.

Walt DisneyWorld has 36,000 hotel rooms...

Maybe we can get a CBI home game?

So both posters were correct in pointing out how dumb your post was. The good news is that you have control over how much humiliation you want. Keep it up; I have worse stuff ready to copy and paste.

I was wrong about Tubby. He had lost his gusto. I have admitted that before, but can admit it again, if it makes you feel better?

I may be wrong about Penny. If I am, I'll admit it. I've been right about some things and wrong about others.

But yeah, feel free to research all of my posts from the past 16 years, so you can show me up on a message board. You are a super cool guy and not a loser in any way, shape, or form.

Did YOU, of all people, just actually type that out?!?!?

I can't stop laughing! 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

You really are a doofus, so I'm going to do this one reply and let you have at it.

No. I don't want Penny to fail. I want him to win 10 straight national titles for Memphis. But yeah, I don't believe he's got what it takes to be a successful head coach in college. That is my OPINION.

I want a hot dog to taste like a medium rare ribeye, but no matter how many times I have one, it just tastes like a hot dog. COGS

1. You are wrong about everything
2. NOT the last 16 years, just posts with the word "Tubby" in them made by you. It took all of 30 seconds (There is much more)

I told you I had much more ready to go. Every time you make a dumb response I am going to post one of your previous dumb responses.

You actually posted that Tubby was the same as Cal, when a poster mentioned that Tubby didn't develop talent.

Got it.

Players Drafted
Cal
35 - 1st Round
16 - 2nd Round

Tubby
3 - 1st Round
3 - 2nd Round

There's more. As always, you have the option to opt out of the humiliation.

And, therein lies the difference between you and I. I make a mistake and admit it. You make a mistake and it becomes 10 pages of thread where you act like a douche bag.

Go for it. Post all you want. I was wrong about Tubby. But, you're still a douche. So, douche away. Spend your entire day doucheing it up. Post everything I've ever said. Douche.
