Yeah, I totally understand why Republican Bearcats fans are happy he won. I get it. I'd feel the same way if he was a Democrat. But he's still an idiot.

I don't get it. I'm flabbergasted by reading some of the comments on here wishing him well. This guy stole from us and our university, setting our football program back during a key critical time. I can't begin to tell you the damage he did with our relationships with local high schools. He nearly killed our program and only his severe incompetence in dealing with fans allowed the school the necessary cover to fire him and pay his buyout.

I don't care whether I agree with his political affiliation or not. There's a lot of guys that are Republicans that can represent Alabama better. It frankly shouldn't matter. The guy is a cancer. The only good news about him getting elected is that I know he is too lazy to screw anything up. The good news for him is that being lazy in politics is a plus.
