Nooch bringing some good pub to JMU. Keep watching after the first video as there are three videos in a row on Nooch. The first two mention JMU. No one expects much from Nooch. Here's hoping he continues to prove the doubters wrong!....

From ESPN....

On Wednesday, (Zeke) Elliott and guard Zack Martin said DiNucci had a good practice. On Thursday, wide receiver Michael Gallup said DiNucci was "slinging it" in practice to CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper and himself.

"[DiNucci's] been good," Gallup said. "He comes up after every period that we got and he's like, 'My job is actually pretty easy; I've just got to get you three the ball and let y'all go to work. It's not that hard.' So it's been good."

Very proud of Ben for getting himself into position to start and stepping up. If Dalton is cleared from concussion protocol, I expect he'll step back in as the starter. Stay ready, Ben, no matter what. You might be right back in there even if Dalton is cleared. Dalton may get knocked out again or be completely ineffective.

Last night's game was a glowing exhibition of just how pathetically bad the NFC East is. The WFT has 4 straight games on the upcoming schedule that are winnable. Not saying they'll win all 4, or for that matter win any of them, but they have a chance in this awful division.

Not the results people wanted to see, but give all the factors in play they were probably in line with the realistic expectations. He didn’t really have a normal offseason or preseason, and the lack of any exhibition games showed. The team was hit with many injuries and the o-line is depleted. They should have warmed up with a heavy lean to the run game with some shot passes to get the flow and rhythm going. Instead they seemed to run one dumb gimmick play after the next. Ben’s different throwing slots is nice at times, but he just kept doing it even when he didn’t need to and his throws were off. He held the ball a bit too long too, seemed like game speed swallowed him up more than he expected, again goes back to a lack of true game speed he’d experience in an exhibition game not in mop up duty. Anyway, congrats to Ben he’s done quite well for himself in the past year when the couch coaches didn’t think he should be the starting QB at JMU to being the stating QB for the Dallas Cowgirls on the national prime time game.

Anybody want to chime in on whichever teams they may be more familiar with on our guys’ progress .

We all know about Ben’s (bad) situation in Dallas. I watched most of the Washington game and despite the loss, it looked like Jimmy had a ton of snaps and played well. Carter and Brown look buried on the depth charts right now .

Dean Marlowe sees snaps for the Bills. He recovered Cam Newton's fumble last week to seal the Bills win. He's played in all 9 games this season for the Bills.

I caught the Greene interception and Marlowe recovery .

Anyone catch the Tampa late game ? The write-ups sounded horrendous . I’m assuming it was not a good day for Josh and Stinnie .....but maybe they held their own and the leaks came from elsewhere .

Actually may be an opportunity as they are reserves and rarely play. May be a chance to get playing time. OT, but played golf with one of Wells old coaches for Jags on Saturday. He's a big fan of Josh's skills just said he had a hard time staying healthy.

I thought I heard that they would both be playing this past week due to injuries on starters. (I might have misheard )

Ron'Dell was cut by the Colts earlier today.

Cowboys have #3 waiver priority.

Josh has played 10 snaps this year and had 0 against NO. Stinnie has not played a snap this year.

Team has only played two guards all year and for the most part starters have taken almost all snaps across the line.

Not a Duke but may be interesting...have you seen the VCU basketball player turned TE by the Colts. His last name is Cox.

RE: #ProDukes
May be a bit OT, but I'll post it here.

I found one more reason why Everett Withers is not a good coach. Our first year we had a young DC that had stellar credentials, but yet somehow we had an absolutely atrocious D. That DC went back to his previous job at the D3 level after one year seemingly by his own decision.

Fast forward 5 years and that young DC, Brandon Staley, is now the DC for the LA Rams and and one of the up and coming coaches in the NFL.

Obviously, this guy is a great coach so there is only one explanation for why our D was so bad that year and that explanation is Everett Withers.
