GG MTSU fans. Love that tough QB Asher O', deserved a better fate today, he played very well, as did your defense for most of the ballgame. GL and go win the rest of your games.

Good game Raiders. You all had a great game plan. I’m just glad we were able to limit O’Hara, as he is a thorn in our side and a great player. Good luck going forward.

TIBL, good banter. No hard feelings...

If you all would have played against everyone else like you did against us in the first half, you might be bowl eligible now (yes, I know bowl requirements are suspended this year). You guys are solid and have stymied our run game better than a ranked App state (who I think will be ranked at the end of the year).

Stockstill needs to go.

I was looking at the coaching hot seat rankings Stockstill clocks in at #28 Littrell N. TX has the hottest CUSA seat at #15 followed by Bloomgren at Rice #20 and Dimmel UTEP at #22, So. Miss will be in search of a coach as well. For those in the market for a head coach it's going to be a coaches market this year there could easily be 30 FBS teams in the market for a new coach maybe even 40 so coaching contracts will be inflated.

All the best Marshall. It was hard not to pull for your team, fans, and community today. I hope that our program represented themselves with class and humbleness while in town. Nothing but the best of luck to you guys rest of the way.

You guys played a good first half, much better than your record. Gotta say I enjoyed this game better than my trip to MTSU last year. That's one away game I don't miss and your fans always treat me well. I trust the it was returned. Good luck with the rest of your season.

The handful of MT fans who watched the game with me at a sports bar here in the 'boro all agreed going into the game we've would've been okay with the Raiders being on the wrong end of a 70-0 score at the end of the game. Smaller margin, but it did secure a second straight losing season for rick stockstill. He needs to go, so does the AD, and the President. Just blow the damn thing up.

Good Luck to Marshall.

CUSA Hot Seat Rankings

16 Seth Latrell (N Texas)
20 Mike Bloomgren (Rice)
22 Dana Dimel (UTEP)
28 Rick Stocstill (MTSU)
37 Butch Davis (FIU)
44 Tyson Helton (WKU)
51 Jeff Traylor (UTSA)
68 Willie Taggart (FAU)
70 Ricky Rahne (ODU)
84 Will Healy (Charlotte)
97 Bill Clark (UAB)
107 Skip Holtz (LA Tech)
123 Doc Holliday

Im not going to rank 55 Tim Billings because I don't think he will be in the running to take over as a full time HC.

I think that 4 of the top 5 could be in trouble depending on what happens the rest of the year. I think UTEPs Dimel has shown enough progress to see what happens next year.

O’Hara is a solid player. Great runner. The turnovers hurt and were the difference.

Under the right system, I firmly believe O'Hara could be a beast.

Second year in a row he carried Middle, and there were times I felt the game could be in doubt at 7-7.

Thank you Middle for the competitive game. Had it not been for those timely (or untimely depending on how you look at it turnovers) the game could have been MUCH closer.

Shut down our run game for a great portion of this one.

Good game Middle! Hopefully you can rebound quickly next year.

FAU might take exception to seeing Taggert on the list at WKU, 03-wink in any event depending on FAU's season Taggert could be getting looks from teams that could pay more, depending on the number of vacancies.

Fixed. knowing that Taggart is an alum of WKU, I just put it down as WKU.

I’ll tell you all this. We’d better fix this slow start shite show junk against Charlotte. Say what you will, but they will be one of our toughest games yet.

Umm.... today was the first game all year we didn't have at least 7 points and 100 yards in the first 2 offensive possessions. This was the first slow start, and it was clear Wells was "excited" as he was constantly throwing high those first could possessions. We'll be fine.

We started slow against FAU, UMASS, and now Middle. Charlotte has been a big pain in our ass and we need to finally be able to put them away in the first half.

Charlotte fans, this is not a slight. This is a compliment to your team hope we can deal with you. I respect you guys. We will see.

Bull.

We had a 7-0 lead against UMass 87 seconds into the game.

We had a 7-0 lead and 110 yards of offense against FAU after 4:55 of offensive possession time through the first 2 drives.

Crazy talk.

Marshall has scored first in every game this season.

1st quarter results:

Marshall 21 Eastern Kentucky 0
Marshall 7 Appalachian State 7
Marshall 14 Western Kentucky 0
Marshall 7 Louisiana Tech 0
Marshall 7 Florida Atlantic 0
Marshall 14 Massachusetts 7
Marshall 7 Middle Tennessee 0

1st Quarter Total:
Marshall 77 Opponents 14

They haven't trailed at any point in the first half this season.

The Herd has led at the half in all 7 games.

What a bum.

You know he wrote those things in real time? Grant started slow, we had no running game, and we looked sluggish early even though we were still making things happen. In hindsight it was a helll of a game, but live it seemed like we were letting them back in it the first half I doubt post game analysis ever looks much like rants during the game when you don't know what's going to happen.

Flush out your headgear. He didn’t have anywhere close to 336 yds when that was posted and he was overthrowing everyone.
