Wake Forest at Duke
Virginia Tech at Pittsburgh
Abilene Christian at Virginia

Trevor Lawrence's first game back, Florida State isn't good but they're still a name = ABC. I'll say a noon start, maybe 3:30pm. I have a feeling ABC's getting Bedlam (Oklahoma State/Oklahoma) and that will be in prime time.

Georgia Tech/Miami might get ESPN or ESPN2. Then again, Liberty is getting a lot of news for being 7-0, maybe they make the "national" stage (ESPN/ESPN2) instead.

Did anyone here know Abilene Christian even had a football team? is Virginia that desperate to play a game? We have a winner (or should I say loser) for the RSN game of the week.

The RSNs have two windows this week. With the loss of a game on the ACCN this past weekend, I expect the ACCN will have three games due to their loss of a game on the 7th due the Covid related rescheduling of the Louisville-UVA game. With that, I expect the Clemson-Florida State game will be the only ABC or ESPN networks game on the 21st.

Wake Forest-Duke would be the other loser then.
Official announcement is out. As projected, 3 ACCN and 2 RSN games.

Friday, Nov. 20
Syracuse at Louisville, 7:30 p.m., ESPN (previously announced)

Saturday, Nov. 21
Clemson at Florida State, Noon, ABC
Wake Forest at Duke, Noon, ACC Network
Virginia Tech at Pitt, 4 p.m., ACC Network
Abilene Christian at Virginia, 4 p.m., RSN
Liberty at NC State, 7:30 p.m., RSN
Georgia Tech at Miami, 8 p.m., ACC Network

Didn't expect Liberty to be one of the losers. I guess the ACCN wanted to favor its conference teams. But a few weeks ago Liberty got on while an all conference game was demoted.

Sinclair got third or fourth pick and sixth pick. Here's what I understand the draft order to be:
- ESPN gets three picks before anyone, but I believe the previously scheduled Friday night game counts against these three. The third of these, which previously commonly ran on ESPN2 before the ACCN, will generally be assigned to the ACCN.
- ACCN, by virtue of the buyout of the Raycom contract, gets the next pick.
- Next comes FSN/Sinclair.
- ACCN then gets a leftover game from ESPN rights that used to end up on ESPNU.
- In a week in which FSN/Sinclair gets two game, they get the next, usually last, pick.
- ACCNX gets any games that are not selected for telecast.

This may not be exactly correct, but reflects the general overall process. For this week, this results may have been:

1. Syracuse at Louisville, ESPN preseason selection
2. Clemson at Florida State, ABC from ESPN
3. Georgia Tech at Miami, ACCN from ESPN
4. Virginia Tech at Pittsburgh, ACCN from Raycom
5. Liberty at NC State, FSN/Sinclair
6. Wake Forest at Duke, ACCN from ESPN
7. Abilene Christian at Virginia, FSN/Sinclair

That would pretty much guarantee at least 2 good games on ACCN every week, while still putting the very best games on ABC/ESPN/2.

With the Georgia @ Mizzou game being postponed, I wonder if the Miami @ VT game might switch from ESPN2 to ESPN.

Yeah, right now ESPN only has one game all day (prime time). Noon and 3:30 games both postponed. Something's gotta give.

Colorado @ Stanford is also changing from ESPN2 to ESPN at 3:30. We'll need to check every two or three minutes, however, because it is all subject to change.

GT vs Pitt postponed until 12/12. This is pretty ideal for GT.

Sat. Nov. 28

Pittsburgh at Clemson
Miami at Wake Forest
Duke at Georgia Tech
Virginia at Florida State
NC State at Syracuse

3 ACCN, 1 RSN (7pm) via Matt's site.

Pittsburgh/Clemson will likely be the national game (I'm looking at the rest of the schedule that day and I think there is a chance it could be the Saturday Night game since I don't see any other obvious choices). Duke/Georgia Tech will likely be the bottom feeder/RSN game.

I count that ESPN could take two games on the 28th and ACCN could still get to 40 games for the season (it should be at 33 after the 21st) and FSN/Sinclair could get to 17 (it should be at 13 after the 21st). Assuming no cancellations on the the 21st, I could see the following schedule for the remainder of the season:

11/27-28
ABC/ESPN/2: Notre Dame at UNC, Pitt at Clemson, Miami at Wake
ACCN: Louisville at BC, Duke at GT, UVA at FSU
FSN/Sinclair: NC State at Syracuse

12/5
NBC: Syracuse at Notre Dame
ABC/ESPN/2: UNC at Miami, Clemson at VT
ACCN: GT at NC St, FSU at Duke
FSN/Sinclair: BC at UVA, Wake at Louisville

12/11-12
ABC/ESPN/2: Notre Dame at Wake
ACCN: WCU at UNC, UVA at VT
FSN/Sinclair: Pitt at GT

All Nov. 28 games "have been placed under a six-day hold. Game times and networks will be updated following the games of Nov. 21."

Final Nov. 28 Game Times:

https://theacc.com/news/2020/11/22/footb...ov-28.aspx

No games on ABC, Pitt-Clemson on ESPN at 3:30pm. The ABC games are Penn State-Michigan, a Pathetic 12 game TBD, and Oklahoma-West Virginia. I'd take Clemson over the Pathetic 12.

Dec. 5:

Florida State at Duke (ACC Website says 12:00 P.M., Duke website doesn't list time)
Syracuse at Notre Dame, 2:30 P.M.(NBC)
Georgia Tech at NC State
Miami at Wake Forest
Western Carolina at North Carolina (The what's the point game of the day)
Boston College at Virginia
Clemson at Virginia Tech

3 ACCN game windows and 2 RSN game windows (3:30pm and 7pm).

Clemson-Virginia Tech is the national game.
UNC's definitely one of the 2 dog games. I'll go with Boston College-Virginia the other, leaving the other 3 for ACCN.

The second RSN game is definitely last pick, but I don't believe their first game is next to last. I would assume they have fourth pick. That said, Florida State-Duke would appear to be the number 5 game, leaving either BC-Virginia and NC State-GT to be divvied up between ACCN and the RSNs. I would assume the RSNs would strongly prefer NC State-GT since FSN is the televising RSN in those markets. However, I believe ACCN will pick the number 3 game. I don't know how they will weigh the choice.

Just so long as we keep that Duke game on the schedule to preserve a potential win with GT's 0.75 strings worth of non-option players.
