Yeah they can try to run and hide and pretend it’s all over and done with, but that stink will be on them for generations. At least. It’s who they are

Hard pass on Falwell U. There’s a reason every conference passed on them once. Not to mention they lost all credibility as a conservative Christian institution when they hired Hugh Freeze as head coach. I think we are strong enough without having a correspondence course U as a member. And apparently, so do many others.

At this point I dont think Liberty cares whether a conference wants them or not. They're doing well enough and better than most G5's on their own.

We don’t care about a FB conference right now. Years down the road sure it could matter if the right fit pops up. But for now we are good bring Indy and are excited going our own route.

People are letting their personal feelings stop them from being objective to the fact that LU has had one of the top 25 seasons thus far.

Both should be ranked.

If they got an invite to a conference, they'd take it without a second thought.

Louisiana might squeak in today but I doubt it. Like I said earlier I think they have to run the table for the remainder of the season to get ranked.

Freeze has spent the majority of coaching career at religious institutions. I find it interesting that we slam a person for the wrongdoings of any kind while we sweep countless wrongdoings under the rug behind closed doors. If you're going to be a conservative religious institution, it would make sense for them to live out their religious beliefs which includes the biblical command "forgive others. if you don't, God won't forgive you". To quote what Kirby Smart said about the triple option offense - "I don't have a problem playing against it. If you don't like the triple option, be the better team on the field and they won't bother you anymore". At the end of the day, they're just another football team that we need to win against. Their money doesn't bother me. Chadwell is dominating and makes 350k a year. Good coaches will win regardless if they make the FBS equivalent of food stamps or millions.

Liberty has had a good season and a damn nice win over VT. They definitely should be ranked. I could see justification for moving them ahead of Coastal and Marshall.

Wow...Liberty is now ranked 22 in the coaches poll...that's quite a jump considering that they were 28th last week (and 25 in last week's AP poll). Interesting
