Memphis sucks right now. I'm confident they'll get it together. Next year looks great.

Seeing how Cincinnati thoroughly humiliated SMU and Memphis, I think it speaks more about how good Cincinnati is this season.

They're without a doubt the class of the league this year. I wish them nothing but the best. We need a great team in the conference every year. this year it's Cincinnati. It's great for the conference for Cincinnati to make this happen. I think they deserve to be in the final four. They're certainly good enough imo.

Totally agree. Now go undefeated and make some noise! I started noticing the build up in recruiting and big time transfers 2-3 years ago and I knew this day was coming. 04-cheers

This. We need to have 1+ team every year that, at the VERY worst, is in the conversation as a CFP snub. Continuing to have ammo in that argument gives us our best chance to be involved whenever it goes to 8.

Memphis was humiliated by Cincinnati but SMU played the worst game they have played in years against them. Mistakes like dropped passes, poor clock management, blown coverages, injuries, etc. were prevalent. They just weren't well prepared like they should have been. It just didn't look like the SMU team we are getting used to seeing. I hope we get another shot at them in the CCG. But we will have to beat Houston and Tulsa to get that chance.

A pipe dream yet wouldn't it be classic if Cincy meets Ohio State in the CFP?

Often the reason a team drops a lot of balls and blows coverages had to do with the other team. Your receivers (and tight end) were hearing footsteps. I would not want to take an open field from James Wiggins or Joel Dublanko either.

If the Mustangs make it back to the CCG and if UC makes it there I am sure the Mustangs will play better. Then again, maybe so will UC.

If we can't or don't win it, I hope Cincy does.

UCF is done, dog toast, will only be playing spoiler

UCF could still finish in the top 30 if they could win out.

They will be competitive @ Houston, and will play Cincinnati in Orlando. Their other two games are vs. Temple and USF.

UCF will beat Houston...

I wouldn't be so sure.

I was impressed with UCF...Even when we (Memphis) beat them I felt they were the better team.

Had to decompress from last weekends beat down before making this lmao

1. Cincy (Class of the league, really the only complete team in the league)

2. UCF (Fluke loss to Tulsa aside, they're the clear #2 and only remaining challenge on Cincy's schedule)

3. Memphis (Memphis/SMU look pretty interchangeable to me, good O, meh D)
4. SMU

5. UH (No secondary)
6. Tulsa (No QB)
7. Navy (Just not that talented this year)

8. Tulane (Tulane and ECU are better than their records)
9. ECU

10. Temple (Shocking loss last weekend)
11. USF (The opposite of Cincy)

I'll keep my rankings unchanged after this week's results.

4. UCF (losses to 2 teams in the conference but should be able to win out the rest of the way and move back into the top 25 eventually)
5. Tulsa (while the record will say Tulsa won; in my rankings they don't get credit for the win)
6. Houston (solid team for a solid conference)
7. Navy (Jekyll and Hyde; probably hurt more than any other team due to COVID thanks to lost offseason practices)
8. Tulane (better than their record indicates)
9. ECU (no longer purple UConn)
10. Temple (Crimson UConn)
11. USF (Green UConn)

While I appreciate your respect toward Memphis....have you seen our defense?

I don't think Cincinnati did... Did they oversleep and miss the charter?

Overslept and missed the season
