Excellent presser. Comparing him with our past four coaches, and with no disrespect to them, he has really become good with the media: likeable, a straight shooter and his comments are genuine and not riddled with cliche and coach-speak. He continues to impress me in every way.

I agree. He's genuinely a likable person from top-to-bottom.
I'm curious: how good was Rick Minter with the press?
Brian Kelly was pretty good at getting attention from the media, and he was likeable in a no-nonsense way. That style appealed to me, but it didn't appeal to everyone and didn't earn him friends in the media.
Butch Jones was full of the type of coach-speak that the media just ate up. It was corny, but it worked for him.
I don't remember much about Tuberville or Dantonio, but seem to remember Dantonio being short with the press at times.

For most of his stay at WVU, Holgerson lived in a hotel room.
When he finally bought a house, he turned it into a man cave with a lobby.
Houston leading WR Marquez Stevenson injured his ankle in the UCF game and probably is done for the season.
Bearcats 44-6.

Bolded, I thought I read that no final decision was made yet as to whether he'd play Saturday? Regardless, I expect UC to prevail but maybe not with as many style points as we saw last week.
Houston may concede the run game and just sling it on every down trying to turn this into a track meet. UC's defense is superior but the Cougars might feel it's their only chance to compete.
Finally, with all we have to celebrate, I continue to lament being locked out of Nippert. I can't ever remember a season with so many perfect weather Saturdays as we've seen this year. It could have been a "make good" for all the rain, sleet, snow, and bone chilling cold we've sat through these many years. I'm not opening the political can of worms on this issue again; I'm simply saying we're all missing it.

BK didn't earn friends in the local media because he called them out. One of the things I enjoyed about his tenure. I remember they did not show up to media days and he let them have it.
Worst thing that could have happened was being moved to ABC....prepare yourself for game to be preempted by election coverage when they call it this afternoon......

Never imagined that; so continuing live coverage would bounce to ESPN News I suspect.
I like that it's on ABC, though I don't know that the viewership will actually be much larger than on ESPN these days. Locally though, they talked more about UC today on Channel 9's Good Morning Cincinnati than they have collectively, season to date. They were even promoting it going into the break. Of course all that is just for those in town who don't know there is college football locally.
