Exclamation Week 8 Open Thread
If someone asked you to predict which game would be closest at the start of the 4th quarter - Syr/Clem, NCSt/UNC, or FSU/UL - how many would've guessed the first one?

SU 21 CU 34 (+13)
NCS 14 UNC 38 (+24)
FSU 16 LOU 38 (+22)

Syracuse lost their 4th string RB Sean Tucker, sigh he was really good.

Played 5th string RB in the 2nd half

ND receiver just pushed the DB out of the way on his way to a touchdown and no call. Clear offensive pass interference.

Wake Forest went for it on 4th down 3 times during their last touchdown drive. I'm not used to this lack of respect for the VT defense.

Hendon Hooker closed out the half with a WR tipped ball interception in the end-zone costing the Hokies 3 points.

Nevermind. With Mark Whipple it doesn't matter what ND does, we won't win this or possibly another game all season. Narduzzi needs to fire the entire offensive staff after this season if not sooner. Except for the WR coach, he can recruit.

Mark Whipple used to be pretty good.

Exclamation RE: Week 8 Open Thread
I'm not one to complain about officials, but I might have to make an exception today. ACC refs are making numerous errors (normal), but all of them seem to be in favor of the Deacs...

Credit to Wake - their defense played out of their minds on that last VT possession.

VT Weeks with full roster 0-1
VT with 13, 15, 21 or 23 players out plus 3 coaches 3-1

Really wish GT wouldn't phone it in first half at least once this year.
