RE: 2020 FOOTBALL SEASON
(4-0) GREAT start to the season. But things get much more difficult now. Our opponents thus far are a combined (1-11). As it stands now the rest of our opponents are (10-8).

RE: 2020 FOOTBALL SEASON
What are we looking at on the season? Given where we are today, what do you see the final record being, 5-5, 6-4, or better?

I'm thinking a win against WCU gives LU a minimum of 5 wins. USM looks weaker than expected so that might end up as a win. Syracuse and CCU look like tough games but possible for a win. Having two bye weeks and one FCS game will help with the rest of the schedule. I'll say 6 wins is reasonable but 7 wins is possible.

RE: 2020 FOOTBALL SEASON
We almost definitely get to 6 wins. Western Carolina and Southern Mississippi are the obvious wins.

Coastal Carolina and Syracuse are toss ups to me. Both are on the road which hurts a little. CCU is after a bye so we should be better prepared and rested against them. I think we split these games, with a win over Coastal Carolina more likely.

NC State and Virginia Tech look like probable losses but neither impossible. I think we finish 7-3 with a very outside shot at 8-2.

RE: 2020 FOOTBALL SEASON
As far as Top 25 discussions, 3 T-25 teams lost so far today. More games left.

No Top 25 talk until we win at least the next two games.

We should be in the conversation now, though unranked. Winning next week should get us close depending how everyone else does but by then the Big Ten is back.

Far as I’m concerned, in a weird year like this, they should be ranking G5’s aplenty.

If they can start ranking teams who won’t play for another 3 weeks, there’s no reason they can’t rank undefeated G5’s after 5 weeks.

Could we admit that college football hasn't been so bad with the conferences that has not played a game yet? Lol!

Agreed! Outside of the "experts" & fans of those teams talking about how much they're missed, I really haven't missed them whatsoever 04-cheers

Starting to look like 8-3 could be a very real possibility, assuming we don't drop any games we should win, or 9-2 if we can beat Coastal.

Do we win either of the remaining ACC games? I haven't seen any of their games.

They are both looking very good. I’m not sold on CCU. They are good but I think we stand a much better chance with them. I’d say NCST is looking more likely than VT.

So basically VT is likely when the undefeated season ends, NC State could be an unlikely win, & CCU is a toss-up?
