Softball: DeLong's Contract Extention (Salary Doubled)
UNT's softball coach seems to be enjoying his time in Denton. Over the summer he received interest from multiple P5 programs with openings, but choose to stay with the Mean Green. Now, DeLong has been rewarded with a new 5 year contract that will keep him at UNT through 2025.

Since the 2018-19 season UNT has finished as co-C-USA regular season champions with LA Tech, beaten 3 ranked opponents, and only suffered 2 loses on their home field. When the contract numbers are released, I'll post the information.

He's doing an outstanding job. I just wish he would but a little bend into the bill of his cap.

I'm not a fan of the flat bill either, but as long as he keeps beating OU and other ranked programs, I'm okay with him wearing his hats any way he likes.

Here are the details... DeLong is getting his salary doubled, and bumps in monetary incentives for conference titles and COY awards.
