6. Penny's dunk on Clarence Witherspoon

Great list!!! That made me think of the Joe Jackson pass to Carmouche for the game winner. That was INCREDIBLE, maybe top 5 of all time. Start watching at the 9:40 mark.

In addition to the above nominations.

That's the one I think about.
Missed FT, everyone thinks it's a 2-shot foul and just stands in place at the lane. Ball casually bounces to Baskerville (I think). Keith is adamantly shaking his hands for Batman to toss him the ball - so Batman does. Keith takes a couple big strides and slams it through.
At least that's how I remember it.
Would love to see video of that. I don't even recall the opponent.

Game was against Iona, cold, wet, sleety night

2009 game @ Tulsa. Tulsa gets an "and one" with a few seconds to take a 1 pt lead, only to see Antonio Anderson catch a half court pass, drive in and hit a double-clutch layup to win the game, and extend our 4-yr undefeated conference record.

dj dunks

i was sitting in the club level
5 or 6 players go up for a rebound

and dj just stays, stuck in the air, while everyone else falls away

it was like an optical illusion , never seen it again and probably never will see it again, just magical

You may be thinking of Barry Sumpter in January 1985. I’ll never forget that one. Memphis State @ Louisville on national TV (big deal back then). 6’3 freshman Dwight Boyd’s coming out party as he puts up 16 off the bench. Drives the baseline and slams over the 6’11 Sumpter. There was once a YouTube of it out there, but it was taken down some time ago.

DJ was one of those players you just couldn't look away from, because you knew you might miss seeing him do something you'd never see again.
MJ and Dominique had that same quality.

That Madlock dunk is always the first one that pops in my head. It was just so unexpected I think. I have tried and tried to find a video clip of it.

This bringing back memories...

Does anyone have a vid of Bill Smith not shooting a 3 or dunking. Do we have a video of a 12ft jumper... I don't think it exists.
Does anyone have video of the Billy Smith behind the back slam; against 'depaul' I think?

Wrong way halftime play is a winner! Madlock's dunk was spectacular.

The Keith Lee free throw put back when everyone thought it was a dead ball.

The Steve Ballard dunk.

Was it Bradford who it the 3/4 court game winner?

Turner's steal and layup to win the NCAA game against...Boston College?

Harry Allen's last secondlay up to beat...St Louis?, when they though they had just won the game.
