Jimmy saw very limited playing time on Sunday.

It seems like he has a solid camp, and then he starts to tail off and receive less playing time as the season progresses.

Fuller was back in the lineup this past Sunday, that might equate to less playing time for F'N Moreland.

This was the second week Fuller was back. Against Cleveland he seemed to play much more than this week. Can't find on line how many plays he played the last two weeks, but it did not seem like he played much this weeks - versus Cleveland.

He was in on 9 plays Sunday. He is the 3rd corner but they are playing a lot of 3 safety which also limits his time.

How many plays was he in versus Cleveland?

Just checking on my observation skills. 03-lmfao

With Dak carted off the field and seemingly out for the season I’m curious to see what Dallas does. Will they go out and sign a veteran backup to slot in as #2 and keep Ben in the developmental role at #3? Or will Ben now be #2 and dress on game days?

CJ Sapong takes 2 minutes into their match with the horrible DC United side to get a nice header off a set play into the net. He might get a few more tonight. DCU is awful.

Good question, and knowing the always unpredictable Jerry Jones, it is a flip of the coin. The 'boys have confidence in Nooch, but they may want to sign a veteran backup with experience. I wouldn't be surprised if they sign another QB and Nooch is in the #2 spot.

I doubt the Cowboys sign another QB anytime soon. They have an excellent #2 to replace Dak, and Ben will simply move up to the backup position.

Dalton is not "excellent." If he was, he would still be in Cincy.

Dalton looked pretty mediocre coming in this afternoon. If it wasn't the Giants, I don't see that being a comeback. Granted, he'll certainly get better with first team reps and going into the game with the starter mindset, but...the Cowboys were struggling to stay afloat before Dak got injured and Dak is worth a TD or two per game over the replacement. As excited as I'd be to see Ben take some snaps, I don't want to see Dalton go down and have Ben become the starter. Being good in camp and practice is nothing compared to actually being in the NFL and going against the best in the world every snap. If this was in a season or two, then I'd be happier with the prospect. It's just hard even for the best QBs to step in and win as a rookie and we've all seen too many rookies be thrown to the wolves, do poorly (or even mediocre), and never get out of that hole. Hopefully Dalton at least stays healthy to give Ben more time or let Dak recover, but if they can't stay at the top of a truly horrific NFC East over the next few games, then I would be surprised if Jerry didn't bring in someone else.

Time will tell. Dalton is the starter for now, but if the Nooch lands up playing because of an injury to Dalton I don’t share the concern that situation will necessarily hurt Ben’s future long term NFL prospects if he is thrust into the starters role. We can revisit the topic if this becomes a reality. In the meantime it’s exciting a rookie JMU QB is just a snap away from starting in the NFL.

Excellent is relative here- for a backup Qb he is one of the better ones in the league- someone who has started and had some success in the league. Usually backup QBs don’t have his credentials. There really isn’t anyone else they could sign that would be close to as good as Dalton.

Dallas can win this awful division with Dalton as the starter, but if he goes down I’m sure they would want another veteran to step in. So I don’t doubt one bit they’ve been looking over every FA and possible trades right now.

Dalton is better than any QB the WFT has. He isn’t Dak though. With the injuries to the Dallas o line and their horrible defense, I don’t see Dallas winning the East. All of the teams are equally inept.

The WFT has six very winnable games in a row. How they do over the next six weeks will either put them in a great position to make the playoffs or eliminate them. Either way, the East is one and done in the playoffs.

Watched the game, and totally forgot about Ben being on the team until you brought it up right now.

I think Dallas can win it by default, nobody else is stepping up. Dallas has some injuries but take a look at Phillys MASH unit and the practice squad players they seemingly trot out there to backfill the many vacancies. Might be a one and done, but to get to the playoffs this season with the home field advantage negated is different than other years; get in and get hot and who knows how far you can go.

I root for the team that plays against Dallas, and any team with less wins than Washington.

And the Cowgirls are signing Garrett Gilbert off the Brownies practice squad. Been in the league 6 years now and threw 6 career passes. Doesn’t make much sense IMO, I can see going after a more experienced guy but Not this guy.
