Def a great schedule...but no need for Elon twice - plenty of other options if there is a season, plus would just give them 2 losses, which is bad for whats left of the CAA

Schools are not going to want to pay a conference school to come to their house this season due to a lack of fans who'll be attending, about the only option is a home and home in the same season. We play Elon every year in conference so there'd be no way to play this season OOC at BFS and next at Elon as another OOC game.

Ha..right...we need less Elon, not more

I seriously doubt it's the only way to make the schedule work

I updated the OP to include all of our games that are technically still scheduled, as of today.

RE: Future FB Schedule (currently 2021-2028)
I've updated the original post to remove the 2020 schedule (cries), to mark a potential Spring 2021 schedule listing and to differentiate the Fall 2021 schedule.

Finally, our 2020 UNC game has been rescheduled to 2028, with no specific date for the game yet announced. This was reported by Greg Madia. It at least appears for now that UNC and the ACC intend to play this fall if they're already rescheduling our game.

Agree, but I'm buying in to dukester's predictions IF big 10 and pac 12 cancel as rumored next week. If the CFP/bowls are canceled, then it changes the ACC picture. For now, schools like Clemson can't afford to bail out early if there is a chance of a CFP. Its the same position we were in with FCS.

Any insight on when 2021 schedule/more information will come out? Getting married next year and it’s looking like the wedding is going to be in the fall. Massive failure on my part. Hoping to lessen the damage and have it land on the bye week or an away date at least.

Any chance JMU could get Jackson State on the schedule? Maybe Deion Sanders ex teammates Charley Haley and Emmitt Smith can help broker the deal.

RE: Future FB Schedule (currently 2021-2028)
So it looks like the format will be:
16-team playoff that begins April 24, with teams playing up to 8 games in 13 weeks (so week 1 will be as early as Jan 23). 11 Auto bids and 5 at-large.

With one auto-bid from each conference, we'll probably play 8 conference games, or mostly conference games and a cupcake win for that shot at the spring playoff. One conference loss will eliminate most teams from playoffs. Can't imagine any conference gets more than 2 teams in.

All of this to say a lot needs to go right, and a lot could still go wrong before spring football kicks off.

There's going to be some games in the snow, if not at BFS, imagine UNH, Maine, URI, etc. in Jan and early Feb.

It will be a flip flop of normal seasons. Will start Cold and get warmer as the season progresses.

Can Amos trasnfer back for the spring? 03-lmfao

That's what I'm talking about! Quality opponents! I bet Larry's Lawnmower Repair Academy would beat Robert Morris by 40.

Well...we can maybe say that the Robert Morris game helped Marcus Marshall's NFL stock? If I recall correctly he had a monster game that day and some of those highlights were probably seen. Then again, he probably could have done that against any remotely competitive opponent.

At least our guys will put up some solid stats 03-banghead
RMU did go 6-1 in the terrible NEC if that counts for anything.

Yeah, I guess you can sugarcoat it in any number of ways, but the bottom line is Bridgewater College would probably beat the crap out of Robert Friggin Morris. I think we should consider a home and home with Page County High School. It's a bus trip, and that is now all the rage.
