Coastal/App could be the game of the East this year.

That was a very strong performance by Coastal today.

Coastal v GSU may be the game to determine who reps the east.

I’ve been following A-State football for 50 years. That showing at CCU was the worst a&& kicking I have witnessed during the years.
Congrats to CCU, you humiliated us. That doesn’t happen often, and expect the same back at you in the future. This may be the start of a rabid rivalry.

How many daddies can we have? Because several conference members are standing in line for that honor.

As for the earlier post about Blake turning it around, he's had 7 years. I have serious doubts it will happen now.

I have followed State football since 1965 and it is the worst I have seen us play. Coastal has a good team but we were really lousy. We were badly outcoached as well. Now most of the conference can beat us from the sidelines but we keep extending BA's contract. Crazy as hell.

Do they have the weapons? Yes. But the east is looking very strong this year. It's going to be a dog fight over there. UL will take the west. No one to challenge them. Certainly not stAte anyway.

In the Jonesboro Sun Anderson said the RedWolves were fatigued from the covid recovery. He said this wasn't an excuse that Coastal played very well. Sounds like an excuse to me. One thing is we don't know how many players were sick.

So was I when we interviewed him for the GS job yet passed him over for Tyson Summers. Happy for CCU but if he continues will be hard to hold onto him very long so is life of a young FBS team.

This is my concern with USA. We had some players out for UAB and when we play Texas State next weekend it’ll be over 3 weeks (23 days) since we played a game. Coming off a COVID outbreak I’m concerned at our conditioning and fatigue level.

Except that Coastal might have that good money

They don't have top AAC or mid-P5 money. I know about the donation but they are not using it for a coaching salary. Most coaches salary comes from boosters, not the school the school salary is set. Kirby Smart "only" makes $500,000 in salary from the school.
