USA receiver with the hands of stone

nice pick up on 4th for a team that has not had a lot of successful short yardage plays

Missed FG attempt after going backwards after picking up the 4th down play.

Can we blame any of this on missing practice because of Sally???

Our receivers had played well coming up to this game. So far tonight, they have been awful, dropping passes, killing any movement we are having.

And UAb is controlling the line of scrimmage in both sides of the ball.

Halftime, thankfully. We get the ball to start the second half, we need to score on that first drive.

Nope Miami didn't rub off on us. We've played like this since Clark's tenure and it's become very aggravating with UAB fans.

This game could have gotten real chippy after a few of the UAb penalties. Something new for Jag fans is the lack of us giving back stupid penalties, something we used to thrive at.

UAb players have come up swinging a couple times, not sure why a flag hasn’t been thrown on those.

One thing I've noticed over the years is that USA has absolutely no home field advantage. They never seem to play with an edge at home. More of a road warrior bunch.

Clark's UAB is good enough to go bowling every year in C-USA. I don't know how well that translates into the previous iterations of our conference. We're great at beating the bad teams and get exposed by any halfway decent one. FAU, App state, etc. Doesn't even have to be the aTm, miami, etc of the world.

Another UAb guy comes up swinging and takes the walk to the locker room. I never understood the idea of swinging at a guy with a helmet on.

USA has to do something here if they do not get some confidence in UAB beating themselves and getting called for being cheap then it is over

the D for USA has played OK these last few drives (not great, but took advantage of the breaks given them) and UAB seems to have started mailing it in

USA offense needs to give their D some hope here or it is over

I agree Hidden. It's really the only knock on Coach Clark imo. His teams lack discipline in controlling their emotions. They were fighting each other on the sidelines during the Miami game.

Geez USA. You've got WR's that can't catch, and bad DB's. Also WAY too much zone being played on UAB.

Anyone know why USA has changed QB's after winning the first game and looking sharp? Injury?
