You're ******* better than this. Don't sink to that level.

CDC recently updated estimated infection fatality rates for COVID. Here are the updated survival rates by age group:

0-19: 99.997%
20-49: 99.98%
50-69: 99.5%
70+: 94.6%

Massive overreaction to inflated threat. This does not even discount the % for you being healthy. If you are healthy, your % will drop. Believe what you want and follow moronic leaders like Pritzker and his clueless staff.

Of course you didn't post anything about the long-term health problems that come with getting COVID-19. Apparently you are willing to see kids suffer from long-term heart scarring, kidney damage, lung problems, loss of balance, taste and smell, neurological problems, circulatory problems, etc. so you can watch football on Saturday.

You can tell when a conservative is scared of COVID-19 when they only mention deaths, not after-effects.

Thanks for admitting you believe this is a serious pandemic.

P.S. 200,000 dead in six months with a massive lockdown and mask wearing and no end in sight to the deaths. Remind us, how many people died from the regular flu all of last year--which is just like The China Flu--with no lockdown and no mask wearing?

The long term health problems? It’s been around for less than a year....we don’t even know what the short term problems yet. There’s not even enough data to understand what exactly to do in November let alone 10-15 years from now.

If you don’t want them to play, I get it—-but get them off campus, get them home, don’t let them go out—-do everything e-learning.

Read ‘em and weep boys....Below was just tweeted by Football Scoop which is very true to their name with scoops from behind the scenes:

Quote:One day the story of the MAC 2020 will come out. We can’t write it.

Incredible story. A lot of people upset and pointing fingers.

Our hope is every University survives the next year or two without massive problems.

Frazier has been looking for a legacy, maybe this will be it! 04-jawdrop

Remember he’s a legend in his own mind. When this all does go sideways STFu will look himself in the mirror and think he made the right call.

He’s suited perfectly for a run in politics.

The count was around 17 or 18 times he said “I or me”

And this from the Scoop:

Quote:The MAC, the first conference to cancel, is now the only one who doesn’t plan to play this Fall.

Would the MAC play without us?

And for all the SF haters out there ....Keep in mind this is NOT just a bunch of MAC ADs. Its President Freeman and the other University Presidents involved with these complicated decisions.

Stay tuned. Today’s the day.
This decision will certainly affect what I’m drinking tonight.

RE: When will the MAC play?
I was in favor of no college football this fall, but not if the other conferences are playing. If the MAC doesn't play this fall while every other conference plays, a mass exodus of players is almost certain. They will also see donor support and donations dry up.
