I do not support piling on this kid. Neither do many other Marshall fans. I hated that CBS continued to zoom in on him, as if he was the reason for the loss.

Agree, that poor kid felt bad enough. I honestly thought it was low class of CBS to keep zooming in on him after that. Like WTH man, it was a turnover, just leave it alone.
So happy to have App State back in Huntington. It’s nice to be involved with a team with an actual fanbase. Under normal circumstances there would have been a crowd of 35K there yesterday, and I’m sure App would usually bring at least 3k to a game like that.
Thanks and believe me we are just as happy to be back. For some reason the tickets weren't released for sale until he first of last week. Looking forward to the games to come when the stadiums will be rocking.
Lets be clear here, if the roles were reversed and that moment happened to Georgia Southern, App fans would do the same to them.

App fans have done nothing but talk **** to everyone the last few years on social media and now they get it fished back a little bit and turn to mush? Not surprising.
IMO, fans giving Evans the business is fair game. CBS, on the other hand, was a bit over the top when they kept showing him after the fumble. I was watching the game with a few non-App fans and they questioned why the producer would keep cutting back to him, to the point they started feeling sorry for him.
Tip of the cap to Marshall, your team made the plays needed to win. Beckett is a stud on D and I fully expect to see him on Sundays if he can stay healthy. Offense really misses the solid blocking we’ve seen from the TE/H-back position. ZT got sacked 3 times and hurried 8 times for over 20% of passing plays. Clark needs to spend the entire week working on ST and ball security.
