Wait. What?
I want to catch something so that I can't catch it?

Yeah, then maybe I'll catch the non-sick sickness.
Given that it only affects the old and the weak, you should probably stay away.
Given that it's killed (not just affected) college football players and has infected >500,000 children to date so far, GTSOH you callous $*&*@!

I can tell you're one of those that has been bunkered in your basement since february with the only source of light being your computer screen as you scour the internet looking for reports of the demise of the human race.
Those of us that live life and aren't scared sh!tless because we believe every word that CNN says know that for people under 40, you're more likely to die from a lightning strike than covid19.
So just change your depends and re-check the duct tape around your windows so that covid isn't getting in, you ignorant $*&*@ !
Nope, been out working (and living). But I'm also doing both in the real world where I can look objectively at all data and not exclusively through red or blue colored glasses. But thanks for showing that you're incapable of doing the same. Enjoy my ignore list.
USFFan
Good thing he put me on his ignore list or he'd have to come on here and admit that I was right.
the article inside the tweet says that memphis is saying that number is accurate at all
I see what you are seeing. Not 42 Athletics but people associated with.
The football program does not have 42 positives," he said Wednesday.
The other four cases are among U of M's pom and cheer squad, Washington said, representing the second cluster the department confirmed Tuesday.
"The 46 cases include all individuals that were reported to us which includes the athletes, POM Cheer/Squad, and staff that worked with these individuals," Washington said via email.
So its less than 42 Athletes but 46 are related to Athletics. 46 less 4 with POM Cheer/Squad leaves 42. Could still be 30 Aths just not 42

Triple AAA: Gainwell would be so much safer on our football team, the kid is making an illogical choice.
Gainwell's family has shown they do not handle the disease well, kids a possible nfl player....
Memphis has huge outbreak of covid.
Houston radio station, Memphis has covid.
Every Memphis fan and their journalists, we don't have it.......
Ok, we got it.
Media Memphis has 40+ football covid cases.
Memphis fans no we don't...........

Nothing you said is accurate. Gainwell is safer being tested 3 times a week, as opposed to not being tested. But he lost 3 relatives to Covid, and didn't want to risk exposing his family members.
Meanwhile, his BROTHER is still playing.
Memphis fans aren't the ones disputing the numbers. The head coach is. Fans don't know, lol.
The Shelby County Health Dept. said there are two clusters of cases in Memphis athletics, with 46 cases total. One is 4, associated with the pom squad. The other is 42, associated with the football program.
The disconnect is between the Memphis media and the head coach. They reported there are between 20 and 40 football players testing positive. Silverfield said yesterday the number of positive cases of football players is nowhere near 40.
They don't dispute the 42 or 46, just who has it and who doesn't. "People in the football program cluster" doesn't mean they are players, and doesn't mean they tested positive.

So, clearly the 42 refers to athletes, coaches, along with staffers and administrative people within the football program. So a bunch of them could be in the ticket office for all we know.

The Health Dept. says "football program cluster." That's a group identifier for contact tracing, not a job description. So, they could be players' friends who were hanging out with them, and aren't even on the football team. Anybody who came in contact with the original two players or the mother.
