Odd to have two AAC teams in one tournament. I know this happens sometimes when tournaments are planned prior to conference realignment, but at this point Wichita State has been in the league for, what, 3 seasons? Still, that's a killer line-up.
I'm pretty sure this lineup was set up right before we switched.

This is for you and other Shockers' fans. Coastal Carolina player smashed a Rock Chalk Jayhawk labeled stone in the locker room that gave the Sun Belt a 3-0 road sweep over the Big 8+4-2-2+2:

WSU is the only D1 football team in the state of kansas that hasn't lost to the sun belt this year.

Didn’t even know that we were doing this.... but hey an opportunity to beat fsu, I’ll take it. Now hopefully we don’t get embarrassed, because they’re actually a really good team.

I think you'll at least keep it close. Dawkins is a good coach

Thanks, now if CJ Walker gets his waiver things could get interesting...

Everyone is getting waivers. We even got one for Tyrese Martin. Doubt it doesn't get approved, don't sweat it

I actually did see one denied the other day, can’t remember who it was but regardless, our chances are still pretty good.

RE: *** Basketball News Thread (Part 4) ***
there have been multiple public denials to date ..and probably tons more that have not been public that have been sent in for an appeal

it seem like everyone is getting a waiver when they are only publicly announcing the approval and not annoucing the denials

this year i think the ONLY maor factor being considered is if the old school approves or not...
i think cj walker gets approved, i think yor anei gets approved ---there waivers arent in becuase they are both really late transfers

deandre williams i dont know.. the temple duo is odd, both should have already gotten a decision months ago, makes me think temple is really late in applying for a waiver or their case is complicated

Oton Jankovic (tulane is the only other waiver)...i have no clue what is happening with that

Last year Dawkins didn’t announce that Mahan’s waiver was approved until the day of the game. He might play this one close to the vest too.

Probably a better tournament replacement for Tulsa than the one we were originally in (as long as the other teams stay the same)

Tulsa, TCU, Northwestern, South Carolina in KC.

would be a great tournament....south carolina is a seen a bubble-ish ncaa tournament team...tcu and northwestern wont be good but no worse that BC was

but anyone find it funny.. just yesterday forever spent time talking about how south carolina was trash...are now the top 2 game on the schedule for tulsa

Evansville is apparently fighting Williams' transfer.

Three man weave aac preview
https://www.three-man-weave.com/3mw/amer...21-preview

really indepth, they project with the assumption the cj walker, deandre williams, yor anei are eligible...did not give temple credit for the duo and tulane oton

from reading the article they put alot of faith in coaches/brands ..and less about roster talent

they also took their stats from their last season as a gage for how good they are..so so they are low on players (compared to the hype their respective teams are putting out) like zach harvey, keyshawn embery, dj jeffries

If USF is only the AAC’s 8th best team, then it will be a banner year for the conference.
