It would have been better for the university to release their statement right after notifying Houston....assuming that’s why the leak came out of TX. Admin could’ve gotten out ahead of it and crafted the message versus allowing noise to trickle out around it. It’s not a good look all around (especially when players feel like they need to go on the defensive).

Have they had to deal with funerals that can’t happen? Have they had to deal with not being able to be with that person at their death? Have they had to put on hazmat suits?

These are real people. These are people with meaning. They are loved.

Good lord....even Fox News verified it. Trump even asked for the reporter from Fox that verified it, to be fired. Her colleagues at Fox backed her up.

As a school policy Arkansas State does not announce positive covid cases within the Athletic Department unless it reaches a point that we would have to stop practices.

From what I have been told:

1. There was nothing in this weeks Covid Tests to preclude the team from playing at Kansas State this weekend. By rule, we have to have 53 available players in order to make the trip.

2. There are multiple players out tomorrow. As of this moment, none of those players have tested positive for Covid, however all of them were not feeling well. They have been isolated from the team and are being tested every 48 hours.

3. No matter what happens, the minute we show up missing players tomorrow, people are going to assume Covid, and it will up us to decide how to address that, especially with Goodson accusing us on Twitter.
