Nope. These are from-scratch creations to avoid that sort of thing. We're not wanting to take the High School route and simply modify the collegiate mascot until it can defend itself as new in court (look at, say, Laurens/Greer HS in SC versus the Georgia Tech Buzz logo). Let's just create something our own, that's sleek, evocative, new, different, and still loved by fans. So far we're doing pretty good on that front.

The bonus for you guys in having our own branding is we can do things like make flyers and coozies and promo stuffs and all the other things that you can't do when the printer looks at it and goes "Isn't that trademarked? Is that YOUR trademark?"

DD should have mouth open, standing on all fours, snarling and showing teeth. Include the entire Commonwealth, including the Eastern Shore. The lack thereof in our current "skin" has always bothered me.

Tough choice haha...if the state and Duke Dog separate, perhaps they will be two separate images with one image on the right side and the other on the left side. Otherwise, if it has to be one image, the I go with the Duke Dog within Virginia.

I like black and white skin as it is...That would like great on tee shirt or ball cap. It loses that raw scary look with color.
