I believe that none have and they don't think any plan to.

If players are not high on the depth chart will they save their red shirt year by opting out this season. I guess if you red shirt you can practice but you can't if you opt out.

4 game rule would definitely apply if no prior RS. May be a special 2020 China Virus rule?

I'm glad we have recent experience playing the option. Army looks strong this year. We'll need to take care of the ball and play disciplined on defense or it could be a nail biter. Thankfully we have a really good, experienced defensive backfield to clean up any runs that break past the front 7.

Army looked very solid, but I am don't think MTSU is a very good football team. We have a lot more size and speed.

SMU looks bad. I expect them to play quite differently in the second half, but they came out flat.

TJ McDaniel TD for SMU, but he isn't as special as the other RB.

IDK, That didn’t seem like targeting to me. Tougher and tougher to play this game each year.

SMU's problem is they don't play defense. They were 9th in the AAC in team defense last season allowing over 33 points per game.

That’s the problem with these Air Raid offense programs. It’s hard to recruit defensive players and even if you have some they spend so much time on the field the defense gets gassed. Even though we were not Air RAID per se we there the ball so much in 2013,2014, 2015 we saw that with our teams.

SMU trying to lose.

Buechele not having one of his better games. That field goal may have iced it though.

Three future opponents won yesterday:

1. Army 42-0 over MTSU out of CUSA. MTSU was 4-8 last year and predicted #8 in CUSA

2. Memphis 37 Ark State 24 out of The SBC. The Tigers struggled.

3. SMU 31 TX State 24 out of The SBC. The Mustangs were not impressive.

I’m just glad they all won. We need the SOS, we can’t have conference teams losing to inferior opponents.

Army did look pretty good... but I think we're just a liiiiiiiiittle better than Middle Tennessee St.
