I am a bit reticent to say yes since some of our fans are more likely to create a new thread instead of searching to see if one already exists, which is why we started pinning these topics. And when threads are moved to off topic or smack, they pretty much stop having any activity.

If we move anything to a new board, I’d vote for recruiting. I think the fans who update and track that are the most likely to go out of their way for that information.

Well, it’s a weird line to judge. Some folks treat threads as news sources and only want topic posts included. Some start a new thread every time a new thought pops into their head. And the remainder view threads as the starting point of a conversation, fully knowing the longer a topic is discussed it is naturally going to morph.

It’s pretty much impossible to create a new thread every time a new topic arises in every solitary thread. So I usually just let it flow unless it gets nasty, political or someone complains.
