Could Trump win California and New York?
I’m originally from nyc and most of my family is there. One of my cousins is a fairly high profile guy in the city and talk is that they think Trump could actually win the state. Even the most staunch former democrats there are supporting the President with all the goings on there and throughout the country. Some of the silent majority (Democrats) there are going to vote for Trump.
Same for my family in California. Huge growing faction of new republicans there are becoming more vocal and the thought of Trump carrying California is not as far fetched as you may think.

Is either likely? I wouldn’t think so but even the conversation of it makes you raise an eyebrow. The silent majority nationally is of course for Trump, but combine that with big left leaning states??

It’s gonna be a wild time over the next few months.

Could you imagine if Trump won 90% of the country, plus the electoral and popular vote?

The libs here would be intolerable.

Never in a million years will he win in any of those cities.

He likely won't win the popular vote in ANY of the largest 20 cities. Hell, maybe even the top 50.

RE: Could Trump win California and New York?
Being a virtual shut in I read a lot. When an article is posted I not only read the article but I read the comments. The comments give you a good feel of how those reading the article are viewing it from their point wherever that is in the country.

Most of the comments I have read the last few months are strongly in support of our President. I am not at the point where I would guarantee it, but if what I’m reading is any indication, voters are not happy with Democrats. There may be a backlash against the left come this November.

If CNN thought 2016 was a “whitelash” , 2020 is going to blow liberal media away.

MY cousin who lives in southern cali is convinced that Trump will win CA. He's a pretty smart guy, but I don't see it happening.

As a Californian hell no. Trump will lose worse than he did in 2016. This is just silly to even imagine. California is gone for the next 50 years.
