Every day, evidence mounts that Democratic politicians are delusional by design. They may or may not believe their increasingly absurd versions of unreality, but they are intent on fooling the rest of us until Election Day.

Take New York’s version of Dumb and Dumber, Gov. Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio.

This dimwit duo doesn’t just deny the errors that have made New Yorkers’ lives worse than they needed to be during the pandemic. Like true delusional Dems, Cuomo and de Blasio actually pose as our saviors...."

What baffles me is several very intelligent people I know (engineers) are totally clueless about politics and are loyal democrats. When you try to talk with them and ask why they support the left, it is like trying to talk with a 2 year old. Facts don't matter, only emotions.

I have several siblings that are engineers that are the same way. Smart but dumb.

I just can't believe the number of people who write about New York doing well with the Corona virus. Just total NPC level morons.

Nobody in the world has done worse with the virus than New York (except perhaps Wuhan, but we will never know their real numbers).

Exactly. And that helps to further illustrate what flip flopping, TDS infected, insane wastes of oxygen they are. We have 2 major issues right now- corona and BLM riots/crime/ whatever you wanna call it. On one hand, they proclaim that corona is "out of control" due to lack of leadership, Trump hasn't done enough, etc. These same fools turn around and say they want no part of Trump sending the feds into to regain control of the cities their incompetent mayors have lost. The entire Dem party and all of their voters need straight jackets and padded cells.

Again, don't forget the fact that Cuomo killed more New Yorkers than Bin Laden did on 9/11.

If you are an engineer, chances are you either work directly for a manufacturing company or are indirectly affected by the industry. I suppose you could have some engineers that equate democrat with private sector unions, and that would equal democrats are supporters of American manufacturing. But to still believe that, you would have to have not paid attention to what has been going on with the manufacturing sector ever since NAFTA was first approved in the early 90s.

Unless these engineers you speak of are computer engineers and possibly work in programming - which really means they are software developers - I can't imagine any engineers who have the words mechanical, materials, chemical, electrical and civil supporting democrat policies even with the most basic awareness of what is going on around them. I do not know of a single engineer who leans left. Granted, I only know people who are working in civil, electrical, materials and mechanical disciplines. My daughter is studying to be a chemical engineer and at worst she is a centrist politically and will likely drift right as she starts co-op.
