What sticker? I don’t understand the reference.
Just pretend it stands for Blue Lives Matter for our Tigers if it upsets you.

The restrooms and concessions would be where a problem could come in. The open air at a football game with every other seat empty should be no problem. Less attendance but better than having no spectators at all IF they could solve the problem areas I mention above. Just my opinion. No animals were hurt in the making of this post.

RE: How many will want their money back?
Sorry I was unclear. It is my understanding that people were told before we purchased our tickets that in the event the season was canceled refunds would be available, or that we could leave the money in our account for next year's season tickets. This is what I meant the poll to ask.

They also gave us a third option of having the ticket purchase price converted into a donation.

I plan on leaving the money there for next season to ensure I don't lose my seat location .... If you got a refund; wouldn't that be just like not renewing or giving up your seats ??

There would be hell to pay if they end up doing it like that. I'd be willing to bet they don't.

I am a long time Tiger fan. There are many of us. I am a season ticket holder for football and basketball. A donor for both sports HH member, Alumni and Alimni Club member. I travel to a few away games every year etc. I can be a good Tiger fan and want my money back if they cancel the season and still be a fan. I have 17 seats for football. 4 of those seats are just extra seats just so I can invite people to the games.
How about we simply appreciate all fans. Just saying.

I couldn't agree more with your opinion. I love all Tiger fans the same.
I don't have money to donate. I donate to get the seats I want. It's how most of us do it. Giving money to the university without a return (games, gameday experience, etc) would be hard for me to do. I would be happy rolling my money into next year's tickets of equal seats. I'm not for letting the university have my money and calling it a donation.
My point was, you can pretty well gauge how many people will pay the university without a return on investment. In other words, there will not be many that are happy to just let the university keep their hard earned money, once games are cancelled. I was trying to say that a small percentage are good with losing their money, without games being palayed, to just help the university. I was saying, more in gest than anything, that the number is approximately the same as those who payed for tickets during the Larry Porter era. During those years, we got very little in return for our money (excitement, wins, etc).
Oddly enough, I paid more for my seats in those years than I do now. Young and dumb......
Edited.

I was young and broke at the time, so I did good just to keep buying tickets during the Porter years. I'm doing much better now, but still not well enough to just tell the UofM to keep the money I budgeted for this year's tickets.
I really hope there's a season... I really hope there's a season... I really hope there's a season...

Hard spot for the school. Keep the money and refuse to give it back, mitigate losses this year but risk losing donors for upcoming seasons

Or move heaven and earth to make sure we get in enough home games that people don't ask for their money back.

RE: How many will want their money back?
My season tickets are in the chairbacks behind the visitor's side. Great seats, but I was on the west side (behind the team) before the chair backs were added & everyone was reseated. (I'm a long time football season ticket holder, but not a big giver...). I've already made my donation and paid for my season tickets & parking pass.
If there is no 2020 season, I would like consideration to move my season tickets back over to the chair backs on the west side if I agree to transfer the money I paid for my tickets & parking pass to a donation.

Thank you, everyone for your candid responses. I am 72 so I will be very happy if there are no games this year that I am alive to take advantage of the tickets. So I am leaving the money for next year, the donation I will give again next year.

I’ll do the same. But I’m only 57.

Between the sticker fiasco, the current silly mask mandate (if NFL is going to require fans to wear them, colleges will too), and the possibility of no tailgating, I am already thinking of asking for my $$ back games or not.
