Taking the advice of his team... He clearly said he recommended that people wear a mask or some type of face covering if they could not social distance very early on in this pandemic. This is nothing new.

One thing the low tech masks improve upon is to reduce the amount of water droplets that you would put into the air via coughing or sneezing. If it reduces the amount of Covid that can be airborne, then I'm cool with it. Regardless of your view on masks, it seems like if you just do it, the chances of having your region going into lock down is reduced. Is it because they are a tangible benefit or is it more of a placebo to keep the unwashed masses from panicking since they feel like they are accomplishing something - who the fvck cares?

The economy is - and always will be - the single most important thing we have to guarantee our liberties. It's still very much vulnerable to this pathogen. If wearing a fvcking mask means we don't go back into quarantine, then we should STFU and just do it.

It’s common sense folks. If you’re in “safe” distance from folks don’t wear a damn mask. If your in a place where there’s a lot of people or people are in close proximity, wear a mask.
Does a mask protect some one from a sneeze or cough? Probably so. Anything else? Probably not.

Is it hilarious to see someone wearing a mask in the car by themselves? Absolutely

Mississippi's Governor put a mask "mandate" in effect for a dozen or so counties with the fastest rising number of cases last Monday. And yesterday (9 days later) the highest number of positive tests reported in a day by 400. Oh well that didnt work. Plan b. I got an idea. How bout we go back to only testing people with symptoms instead of testing those with no symptoms trying to get out of going back to work next week because the government unemployment juice runs out in Sunday?

Yeah. If I'm in a Home Depot in the morning when its not crowded with its nice wide aisles, I don't wear one. Grocery store or drug store yes. I went to an old Ace Hardware and everyone was crowded together in the aisles Decided that wasn't a place I wanted to be with or without a mask until this is over.

This is a perfect example of being able to disagree with Trump on an issue, but still support him.

I get where he's coming from, and I understand why he's saying what he's saying. But I disagree, and will continue to go maskless.

All the mask will do with a sneeze is block the large fluid droplets. The virus will go right on through and be in the air anyway. The mask inhibits you from breathing normal, and therefore forces more fluid and virus in the air. See MS 9 days after a mask mandate was put into place. Yesterday set a record number of positive tests by 400. They cause harm and Miami, Houston and now Mississippi are proving it.

I'm allergic to every grass pollen and am in the field 250+ days/yr...I blow snot before I enter any bldg, and excuse myself when an attack hits...
