Yep. Great point. Crosa was stone cold ice in crunch time.

Great point - does anyone know who the favorite is going into the year?

I honestly didn't believe you that was a player because its the best kicker nickname ever so I looked him up. Here's what the enquirer article said his stats were:

Fast forward to 2020 and Lundberg just finished a four-year career for Indian Hill where he hit 24-of-32 of his field goals and 196-of-208 of his extra points. He even tackled five guys that dared to run the few kickoffs he didn't deposit into the endzone.

Most of the misses were snap/holder issues. Has excellent distance.

Looking forward to OL, QB and WR position groups to collectively take a step forward together.

Storylines that I’d rather hit myself in the head with a hammer than hear about will be taking a knee at the anthem...and I’m told UC will possibly have patches and a logo on the field for BLM. Just shoot me and be done with it, please.

Wait, a program with a significant number of Black athletes, may want to stand against systemic racism?

You're right...shoot me. How could they?

The QB battle for sure, it should be interesting to see how the competition shakes out between Ridder and Bryant.

Just put the DNC logo on midfield and be done with it.

BLM is a political op.

I'm comfortable with any athlete taking a knee, expressing themselves individually, and speaking out for whatever political cause they see fit. I am very uncomfortable with the University endorsing BLM on their uniforms or field. No different than if they had put a Republican elephant or hammer and sickle on the field.

BLM is a political op.

Though there are undoubtedly more people that identify with the left than the right who support BLM and the goals of ending systemic racism, I know several republicans, particularly younger republicans, who support black lives matter.

It's becoming something that hopefully will transcend ideology. (Much the same as I knew plenty of young republicans who support issues like gay marriage and LBGTQ rights).

RE: What Bearcats Player or Storyline Are You Most Intrigued for 2020?
Individually:
1) James Wiggins - Hoping he comes back even better/stonger from injury. Maybe Adrian Peterson style.
2) Michael Pitts - He can be a really good player IMO. Rooting for him.
3) Jerome Ford - Interested to see how SEC talent transfers over to our RB room. He may have stayed at Bama if Najee Harris didn't stay.
4) Charles Mcclelland - He has SEC/Clemson/Ohio State speed. Loved what I saw his first year. Coming back off injury
5) ANY RECEIVER THAT STEPS UP. It's a wide open room

Sides of Ball:
1) Defensively - We know what we have. Let's dominate!
2) Offensively - I am interested to see how much our offense improves with a stacked RB room, what should be an improved O-Line, and more than talented enough TE/WR room. I think Desmond Ridder keeps job unless Ben dominates summer ball. My guess is Des really improves his consistency this year if we get practice time in.
3) Special Teams - While extremely important I find this area extremely boring. I'll let the coaches handle as they have exceeded my expectations so far here.

Thought I'd plop this here since it contains some good storylines for 2020. College Football News previews the Cats' season...

These are good. I'd add:

1. Can Sauce pick up where he left off? Could he even make another leap?
2. How big a jump will the offensive line make?
3. Does UC have the QB play to finish the job?

Here it comes. All the lemmings are lining up to show how morally pure they are. Lol. Pretty soon every program will have a political officer on staff.

From the link I posted upstream...

Quote:Enter Alabama transfer Jerome Ford, a superstar get for Nick Saban who couldn’t find his way into a ridiculously loaded backfield. He’s the most talented option, but 230-pound Gerrid Doaks is a pounding veteran who can handle the work, running for 526 yards and five scores last season.

Hey rath, any insight on the Ford kid? I know your son attends Bama so I'm asking if you have any info to share. No problemo if you don't.

I’m all about black lives and every other color, creed, age, gender, sexuality, etc. life mattering.

The BLM organization and the hateful racist jerks that run it are largely Marxist pieces of sh!t who wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire. UC unimaginatively runs to glorify those jerks, a chunk of my disposable sports income and donation funds just got permanently freed up.

He’s a great kid off the field. Very talented for a program like UC but a hair off the pace at a RB factory like Alabama. I would not be surprised if he eventually takes over the bulk of RB1 snaps at some point this season.

I love that part. Kid should thrive under CLF just like Warren did. He's listed at 5' 11" and 213. Stay low behind our monster OLine. Sounds good to me.
