Careful, when UAb had no OOC games scheduled, they shut their party down for 3 years.

Not factual correct. Try again.

Sorry, it was only 2 years they were on hiatus. 03-weeping

As bad as things were for UAB during that dark time they came out of the gate after returning with a vengeance. Say what you will but UAB is in a better position now than they have ever been football wise.

I'd like to see UAB, Southern Miss, Tulane, and La Tech. Wouldn't mind to get SMU back on the schedule either.

Has everything to do with their current coach. Without Coach Clark being successful that last year and getting that team to bowl eligibility, no one would have cared. Had they shut it down a year earlier, UAb would be a basketball school. Clark has been the absolute best thing to happen to that program, and is a main reason why they still have a program.

I see Charlotte just announced a H&H with Ole Miss. How the heck does a SEC school agree to playing at a 15,000 seat stadium like that?

Who doesn't want an easy win? App State has a bunch of open slots for non conference games past 2024 for a reason.

Maybe UNC-C promised to expand Jerry Richardson stadium before they play in 2026-27. Right now, Ole Miss could fill that entire stadium easily.

It doesn’t make sense for any SEC team to travel to a 15k seat stadium, however, Vaught-Hemingway holds less then 65k, and they don’t routinely fill it up. Wonder how much this has to do with the program struggling over the last couple years and the NCAA sanctions they have had. Financially they could be struggling a bit.

Is the game definitely going to be played in Concord or will it be played at Bank of America Stadium or whatever the current name of the Panthers' stadium?

Good point. They could be using H&H's to keep from paying out million dollar pay day games. Wish they would call us to get one going too....04-cheers

Non conference G5 games you want on the schedule
I know we’ve already got them in a future series but give me an annual with ECU. Their idiot fans are the best to mix it up with...basking in the sun of a league that’s too good for them, holding on to 30 year old glory. They’ve played us twice in the last 41 years.

i'm sure there is a clause that the stadium has to be expanded by 2025 or ole miss can cancel with no penalty.

hopefully UNCC gets some fans and money in the next few years.
