RE: Politics
Please, no politics in the important threads section. Keep it above the fold as they say

RE: Politics
So the thread title asks the question one way where answers don't match. Your first post asks the question a different way where the answers do make sense.
I wasn't certain which radio button to select, so I'll say it here. NO POLITICS!

RE: Politics
DWING is correct: I'm not good with polls. And I can't delete or edit. So we're stuck with it...unless a mod wants to clean it up.
Yes= NO MORE POLITICS
No= POLITICS REMAIN
Vote early, vote often

RE: Politics
Depends on how you define politics and how they're related to ODU/the topic.
So like, wedge issues and whatnot should already be headed over to the spin room. There's no real need to be hashing that out in here. But stuff like Liberty's policies/politics, and things that involve ODU (Like coaches saying certain things or the "unity circle" and its value, etc etc), and things going on in the college world in general (student athletes getting paid, how student athletes can protest, etc) should absolutely stay.

I do agree that there is no black and white, but I ****** up a 2-response poll, do you want to see me try one with ump-teen shades of grey?

Politics can be interesting and even enjoyable but this is one site I come to escape it.

Why talk about it here? It's not like you're going to change another poster's opinion.

I was told once that the only good poll is a stripper pole. Can I say that on here?

This is how I view political threads;
If it's related to ODU or ODU athletics, it can stay as long as it is cordial.
If it's just a thread about Libertarian gardening enthusiasts thoughts on the demilitarization of Sunday School teachers, it's gotta go.

RE: Politics
CSNBBS has the Spin Room for poitical rants and discussions.
Unless it directly concerns ODU, eg the Cox Bill, politics does not belong here.

That's where THEY get you...because the Sunday School teachers ARE gardening enthusiasts!

We don’t serve Pepsi here but you can suck it out of a syphilitic rat’s anus across the street
I agree with your larger point, and I’ve been guilty of crossing the line, but I don’t think I could ever recommend spin room to anyone I like. Not my cup of tea, or rat butt Pepsi.

So we have Asia Todd, the Liberty women's basketball player from the Raleigh area who says she is transferring due to what she says are racial issues at Liberty. If she good enough, maybe she can transfer to ODU.
