Well, it will be interesting to see what he ends up doing. If he is genuinely stepping back from the grind to spend more time with his family I would completely understand that. If he ends up going to coach somewhere then that would make me wonder a bit about the internal workings of the program.

I mean, good for him. Doesn't necessarily have to do this for the money or anything like that. No longer has to recruit or go on recruiting trips. He does have two sons that are potentially going to be stars in college. However, I don't see neither one of his sons going to Memphis. NBA front office is in his path now. Personally, I don't think he viewed it as a job that was worth it nowadays. Now, he gets to be a dad, good for him. We're going to find out the real Memphis Tigers this winter.
