Clearly if everyone listened to the president it would all be over now because we'd all be dead from injecting disinfectant into our bodies.

I do love how conservatives claim this is all over blown but kiss the king's feet when he claims to have saved meeelions of lives. Which side of your mouth are you eating from tonight chief?

I love how liberals are hell bent at destroying the economy and staying shut down no matter what, but then say "OMG the economy is so bad!" when the unemployment numbers are so high

The only people talking about the unemployment rate are the republicans, mostly because they want to get Trump re-elected and not because they care about anybody except their rich friends.

Obviously you missed Biden's botched attempt to
discuss the unemployment numbers about a week
ago.

What has Trump done for the working class?
I am a member of the working class making between 35k and 55k a year. How have I benefited personally from him being president?

Just giving the average American a chance to work again, incentivizing businesses to stay in this country, large sweeping tax cuts, and getting fair trade deals. Obviously the virus thing has tripped all that up and the hoax of this response has destroyed much of that, but at least Trump has shown he has the American worker in my mind where as elite Dem party only cares about making the elite richer and perhaps more importantly, more powerful.

That's funny, because the company I work for made a ton off this virus, the working class employees made nothing. Same goes for a lot of people I know working for companies that got approved for the payroll loan

Almost as good as losing affordable health family insurance(two plans now), health insurance cost up,
prescription costs up, lost my physician, and now travel about 60 miles round trip to see my doctor instead of 4 miles. Thanks President O'!
Oh yeah, because of the insurance/benefit changes/costs my company went to hiring 2 part timers instead of full time workers. My regular hours went from 40 to 32(I'm semi-retired but between the 2008 crap, getting the youngest through college and paying for one more wedding I'm still working).
And one political party wants to increase my fairshare.

Okay, I'm just saying that doesn't make Trump some working class hero. If he's the savior why are rich people getting the tax cuts and CEO's profiting off this virus? Why not institute hazard pay for all workers who worked through the pandemic?

RE: Corona Virus
If Republicans have their way, the working class would be far worse off. No unions, no healthcare, no regulations preventing companies from totally exploiting workers, dirty air and water (regulations = bad), minimal tax cuts (the rich seem to get those), no social welfare or similar programs if you do get laid off - they apparently just want people to fend for themselves, companies can be maximally deceptive in order to maximize profits - that is their whole platform. And companies STILL remain overseas without having to pay appropriate taxes. I don't see what's in it for the working class.

I respect Trump for trying to bring these companies back here, the corporate tax rate was so outrageous before. I will give credit to Trump for being the first President for the American worker in AGES. The problem I have with Trump are his appointments. He appointed a man to lead the FBI, director Wray, that is doing his absolute best to block any reform of what has became a highly criminal institution in itself. The drain the swamp promise was a joke if you allow men like that to continue the corrosive culture of the FBI

Trump crushed China with the tariffs. Absolutely crushed China. Before Covid the economy was on fire and it is already revving back post-Covid.

Your Covid is running on fumes. Sorry Trump haters.

The economy had been improving since 2009. Look at the stock market since then.

Trump won't appoint anyone that he thinks won't be a yes man. If they turn out to be anything else, Trump gets rid of them. So it is not possible for him to drain the swamp because he is part of the swamp.

The drain the swamp promise was a joke if you allow men like that to continue the corrosive culture of the FBI

Trump won't appoint anyone that he thinks won't be a yes man. If they turn out to be anything else, Trump gets rid of them. So it is not possible for him to drain the swamp because he is part of the swamp.

That just is false. He needs to appoint YES men in fact. Director Wray refuses to reform the corrupt FBI, AG Barr refuses to hold anyone accountable for the Russian investigatoin. Trump has no one faithful to him in his own administration because government is packed with career criminals

RE: Corona Virus
Or everyone just realizes Trump is literally not right in the head. He has issues and you're kidding yourself if you don't see that. Guy needs help and not in a joking way, I legitimately think he needs psychiatric help

There are a limited number of people that have no dignity, which is required to work for Trump.
