In that spirit, I would like to invite you to join me for the first Bearcats Virtual AD Town Hall on Friday, May 22nd at 9:00 a.m. Our conversation will be hosted by Dan Hoard, and I will provide updates on the state of our department, how we're staying connected with our student-athletes, and answer your questions.
This virtual town hall will be available via WebEx. Please register for the event by clicking the link below. Once you register, the WebEx link will be emailed to you. This town hall will be available to select UCATS members, therefore the link will be tied directly to your email and cannot be shared.
You will have the opportunity to submit your questions during registration, and we'll answer as many as we can during the town hall.

ditto.. the only donations I give are what's required for my season tickets - roughly $50 a year, and I got an invite. Sorry you'll have to share a WebEx room with peasants, doss.

"This town hall will be available to select UCATS members" These were not my characterization. It was the UC email saying it JA!

RE: AD virtual town hall
Informative meeting today on the future of athletics.
• No plans to cut anymore sports.
• Cunningham wants all programs to be in the top 3 of the conference. Gave BYU as his example.
• If attendance was limited to 50% at Nippert, season tickets and the student section would make up that percentage, single game tickets would not be made available. Season ticket holders would be contacted in regard to if they feel safe attending if attendance limits are set below 50%.
• Refund options will be made available in the event seasons are canceled.
• Bearcats Unite being formed, more information to be sent out.

Academic Excellence of all teams at 3.38
Need for $3 million due to lost revenue and other cuts.
Will try to convert refunds into donations for long term success.
With losing kickball coach and feeling they could not met top 3 criteria ending the program was responsible thing to do.

Bolded, sounds like a reasonable alternative to an empty stadium. I'd be open to moving our seat location for one season in order to create necessary spacing, while still enjoying the Nippert experience.
Results in the next 30 days as restrictions are relaxed should give us a better measure of how modified seating might work.

Well, depending on how speculative you are it could mean more or less, but if your portfolio followed market trends and you're saying you're down "millions" (meaning at least $2M) that would mean you're leveraged to the tune of roughly $11.7M in monopoly bucks in the Duw Jenes Industrial Market that trades in your basement.

I had a decent chunk in cash just in case something went politically wrong this summer. As we are in our mid 50's and retired, we needed to have enough cash available until we can start cashing in our 401k's at 59.5 without penalty (though there are ways around that).
Did a little reinvesting when things went crazy down a month or two ago, but not a lot.
Actually, if I were a speculative guy, now would be a great time to reinvest. The return may not come immediately, but should be there within a year or two, pending the results in November.
